Adam Hendrix opened from early position to 525,000 and Daehyung Lee was the only one who called from middle position.
"Me and you, huh? You're not gonna bluff me, right?" asked Hendrix.
They saw a flop of 2♦2♥3♣, where Hendrix threw out 700,000 and Lee quickly called to see the 9♦ on the turn. Hendrix slowed down with a check, Lee bet 1,500,000, and Hendrix quickly released.
Nick Pupillo raised to 550,000 in middle position and Eric Afriat called in the big blind.
Both players checked the 6♣6♦4♣ flop. Pupillo then bet 800,000 on the 9♦ turn and Afriat called.
The river was the A♣ and Afriat bet enough to put Pupillo all in. Pupillo had 4,375,000 remaining and, again with the sweater covering his face, went deep into the tank.
The clock was eventually called, the dealer advised to the floor that Pupillo didn't have enough time. Eventually, the floor gave Pupillo 30 seconds, and he allowed the countdown to nearly reach zero before announcing the call. Afriat could only show K♦8♦ for a bluff, while Pupillo turned over K♥9♥ for two pair to win the pot and double up.
Maksim Pisarenko was involved in two pots in quick succession.
First, he raised from under the gun to 550,000 and Johan Schumacher called in the big blind.
On the 2♥Q♣8♦ flop, Schumacher check-called a bet of 400,000 from Pisarenko to the 9♣ turn, where both checked.
Schumacher bet 2,000,000 on the 2♠ river, and Pisarenko quickly let it go.
Not long after, Pisarenko raised the button to 500,000 and Daehyung Lee three-bet the big blind to 2,000,000. After some time, Pisarenko four-bet shoved for 13,150,000, and Lee quickly folded.
"Casino Royale," said Pisarenko as he flashed the 10♦ to the table. He also hinted to Lee to stop being so aggressive toward him.
"Take it easy, tiger," were Pisarenko's words to Lee as he pulled in the chips.
Lautaro Guerra opened the action with a raise to 500,000 from middle position, and Michael Mizrachi was the only caller on the button.
The flop came Q♠Q♦2♥, and after Mizrachi led out for 550,000, Guerra responded with a check-raise to 1,600,000. Mizrachi gave it some thought and opted to call.
On the 10♣ turn, Guerra seized the initiative and fired again, this time for 3,000,000. Mizrachi looked tempted to continue, possibly weighing a call or a bold move of his own, but after a brief tank, he mucked his hand and gave up the pot.
Guerra’s aggression paid off as he claimed a sizable one.
Richard Freitas raised to 500,000 in the hijack and Nick Pupillo called in the big blind.
The flop came 7♦4♠2♦ and Freitas bet 350,000. Pupillo then raised to 1,200,000 and Freitas called.
Both players checked the 10♣ turn. Pupillo then bet 2,500,000 on the 5♣ river and Freitas went into the tank for more than a minute before calling.
Pupillo showed K♦10♦ for top pair, but Freitas turned over A♦A♣ and took the pot.
Joey Padron opened to 500,000 from early position. Johan Schumacher and Adam Hendrix called from middle position and the cutoff respectively before Sebastian Schulze defended his big blind.
The action checked to Schumacher on the 7♦3♠2♣ flop, and he bet 600,000. Hendrix called, Schulze folded and Padron also stuck around.
The K♥ turn then checked through to the 5♥ river. Padron led out for 1,600,000 and Schumacher called. Hendrix then made it 5,700,000, which prompted a quick fold from Padron. Schumacher mulled over his options for some time before putting in calling chips.
Hendrix tabled 3♥3♣ for a set of threes, and Schumacher mucked.
Chris Dombrowski kicked things off in the cutoff and raised to 625,000, prompting calls from Leo Margets in the small blind and Michael Mizrachi in the big blind.
All three players opted to check the 8♣A♦J♠ flop.
Mizrachi led with a bet of 800,000 on the 9♣ turn, and Dombrowski was the only one who stuck around.
On the 10♠ river, Mizrachi slowed down and checked Dombrowski, who fired a bet of 2,600,000. Mizrachi took a moment before mucking his cards.
Lautaro Guerra started the action with an under-the-gun raise to 600,000 and picked up two calls, Michael Mizrachi in the hijack and Kohei Arai in the big blind.
Arai checked the 8♥8♣4♦ flop, and Guerra continued for 500,000, which Mizrachi called. With the action back to Arai, he check-raised to 1,800,000, and Guerra made the call, while Mizrachi folded.
Both players checked the 9♥ turn.
On the A♠ river, Arai led out with a hefty bet of 3,200,000 million, which made Guerra go into the tank, but after a few minutes, he folded, giving up the sizable pot to Arai.
Action folded to Kohei Arai in the hijack, and he opened to 600,000 with 7♣4♣. Michael Mizrachi defended his big blind with Q♠9♦, and the two went heads-up to a flop of Q♣10♥6♠.
Mizrachi checked, and Arai continued for 500,000. Mizrachi called to see the 8♠ on the turn, where he checked once again.
Arai upped the pressure with a bet of 2,200,000, and Mizrachi stuck around.
The A♦ river completed the board, and Arai didn’t back down. He fired a sizeable 5,200,000 bet into the middle, sending Mizrachi deep into the tank. After some thought, tossed his cards into the muck, and Arai raked in another pot.
