Nemetz Chips Up Through the Brazilians

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Stefan Nemetz raised to 400,000 and was called by both Murilo Milhomem and Pedro Padilha. The trio headed to the K109 flop on which Milhomem checked. Nemetz bet 450,000 and Padilha called, as did Milhomem. Three ways to the 4 turn, Milhomem checked to the Austrian once more and the second barrel did the trick for Nemetz.

Leon Sturm Eliminated in 48th Place ($200,000)

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Leon Sturm
Leon Sturm

Leon Sturm made it 400,000 to go, and Pedro Padilha three-bet to 1,200,000. It folded back to Sturm, who four-bet to 6,500,000 with 175,000 behind, and Padilha then moved all in for Sturm to call.

Leon Sturm: AK All in
Pedro Padilha: QQ

The J42 flop kept Padilha in the lead, and nothing changed with the 8 turn either. One railbird loudly demanded a king, but the 3 river ended Sturm's run in 48th place for $200,000.

Nadav Barash opened to 400,000 from middle position. Tony Gregg and Daehyung Lee called from the hijack and big blind.

Barash continued for 350,000 on the K54 flop, and Gregg was the only caller.

Barash then check-called for 750,000 on the Q turn and did the same for 1,050,000 on the Q river.

Gregg tabled KQ for a full house. Barash flashed AA and then mucked his hand.

Iachan's Five Is Enough

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Action folded to Michael Mizrachi in the small blind who raised to 600,000, prompting a call from Daniel Iachan in the big blind.

On the K52 flop, Mizrachi continued for 475,000, and Iachan made the call.

Mizrachi didn't slow down on the 2 turn and fired another bet of 775,000, and Iachan made the call again.

When the 2 appeared on the river, Mizrachi checked and so did Iachan, who tabled 54 for a full house of deuces over fives, and Mizrachi's cards found the muck.

Buhaiov Shows Kassouf Nine-High in Role Reversal

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Nazar Buhaiov

Will Kassouf was up to his regular antics, but told the table to be quiet as Nazar Buhaiov limped in from the small blind. Kassouf was in the big blind and after thinking for some time, he made it 800,000 to go off a stack of 3,600,000.

"No cards, no comment," he kept repeating to the rest of the table during the hand. Meanwhile, Buhaiov then limp-shoved, silencing Kassouf for a brief moment. After thinking it over, Kassouf decided to fold, and Buhaiov slammed 97 down in his face.

"Nine-high," said Adam Hendrix. "What a play!"

Kassouf didn't seem happy but brushed it off, "Thanks for showing me you shoved with nine-seven off. It's good for the game," he said.

"It's a great hand. I've had nine-high fourteen times this tournament and I've won with it ten times," Kassouf continued. "Like a boss."

Shortly after, Kassouf did get some chips back as he raised the small blind and bet the 8K3 flop. Tomas Szwarcberg folded after calling preflop from the big blind, and Kassouf showed QQ.

Mizrachi Folds to Iachan's Four-Bet

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Kohei Arai raised to 500,000 from middle position with the KQ, Michael Mizrachi three-bet to 1,350,000 from the button with A10 for Daniel Iachan to four-bet to 4,000,000 from the small blind with the AK. Arai folded but Mizrachi needed more time to consider his options. In the end, Mizrachi folded and Iachan offered to show his cards. He did so for Mizrachi to smirk.

"Nice hand, if I shove, you fold obviously," Mizrachi commented. Iachan laughed.

Hallaert Builds Stack Without Showdown

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Murilo Milhomem raised to 500,000 in the cutoff with A5 and was called by both players in the blinds including Kenny Hallaert with Q10 and Giovanni Pupo holding the K7 , leading to the 876 flop. The action checked to Milhomem, who opted to check back to the 6 turn three ways. Hallaert now led for 750,000 first to act and Pupo gave him a little stare down before folding.

Milohomem, however, came along and the dup then headed to the 5 on the river which brought a four-liner on the board. Hallaert cut out a bet of 3,000,000 into 3,250,000 and that shut down Milhohem.
