Kitajima's Turn Shove Gets Through

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Hayato Kitajima raised to 20,000 from under the gun and was called by Huahuan Feng in the small blind and Seungwoo Son in the big blind.

The players saw a 7K4 flop, action checked to Kitajima, who bet 25,000, Feng called, and Son folded.

The turn card was the 4. Feng checked again, and Kitajima decided to go all in for roughly 85,000. After taking some time, Feng tossed his cards into the muck.

Wasserman Cracks Truesdell's Aces

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Suren Dharanikota raised to 20,000 and Michael Wasserman three-bet next to him for 120,000, with around 15,000 chips left behind. Justin Truesdell shoved in the blinds for less and Dharanikota folded:

Justin Truesdell: AA All in
Michael Wasserman: 99

Truesdell had good hopes for a double up but the board brought 97253 to give a set to Wasserman and he left the tournament area.

Massive Pot for Popowski

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action was picked with a flop of J109 and all the chips in the middle between Robert Simmons and Patrick Popowski, who both had a nice stack of around 350,000 chips.

Popowski held AK for the nut flush while Simmons held 1010 for a set of tens. The K turn and A river didn't change anything and Simmons busted while Popowski climbed to a huge stack above 800,000.

Cukier's Gamble Pays Off

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Talesh Patel opened up the action under the gun, with a raise to 16,000. Paul Cukier then shoved from late position, for his remaining 38,000 chips. Adrien Guyon called all-in from the cutoff for just 15,000, and Patel called too.

"I'm gambling here," said Cukier. Guyon replied, saying that he had "the best hand."

Adrien Guyon: QQ All in
Paul Cukier: 98 All in
Talesh Patel: 66

As if the 23J wasn't enough of a sweat, the 10 turn improved Cukier to both a straight and flush draw. The Q river gave Guyon top set, but improved Cukier to a straight.

"I knew I was gonna win this hand," he said while bringing in the chips.
