Nathan Moving Back in the Right Direction

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Krasimir Yankov raised from the cutoff to 800, and was swiftly met by a three-bet as Kevin Nathan raised to 2,000 on the button. The rest of the table folded, but Yankov made the call.

The dealer spread a flop of 1035, and Yankov check-called another bet of 2,000 before both players checked on the flush completing J turn.

When Yankov checked for a third time, Nathan fired out another bet of 3,100. This was enough to see him win the pot, as Yankov returned his cards to the dealer.

Wilson Gets One Street of Value

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Quan Zhou opened to 700 from under the gun and Brandon Wilson defended from the big blind.

Both players checked the flop and turn on the J94KJ runout. Wilson bet 800 and Zhou called.

Wilson showed K10 for two pair, kings and jacks which was enough to take the pot.

One Bet Takes It

Jordan Glazer started the action from the hijack with a raise to 700, which was promptly met by a three-bet to Alejandro Lococo one seat to his left. Lococo made it 2,100, and both Krasimir Yankov on the button, and Glazer made the call.

Glazer and Lococo both checked on the connected 897 flop, before seeing Yankov place a bet of 2,400.

His two opponents quickly released their cards, and Yankov pulled in the pot uncontested.

Alioto Chipping Up Early

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action was joined as Piero Alioto and Bradford Albrinck were competing for a pot worth roughly 10,500, with a turn about to be dealt.

The flop 4KA was joined by the J turn card. Alioto check-called a bet of 5,000 from Albrinck.

The river saw both players check, and when Alioto showed his KJ for two pair, Albrinck mucked his cards.

Boivin Puts Charlier in the Blender

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

With two players seeing a board of A5J and just under 15,000 in the middle, Thomas Boivin bet 2,000 from the cutoff and Denis Charlier raised to 8,000 from the button. Boivin called.

Both players checked the K turn leading to the Q river. Boivin bet 12,000 and Charlier went into the tank for a few minutes until the clock was called. Charlier called soon after.

Boivin showed top set with AA which was good at showdown to take the sizable pot.

Weissman Shows the Winner

The hand was picked up on the board of J1024 with roughly 1800 in the pot.

Joey Weissman bet 1,600 and was raised by Ignacio Moron to 7,200. Weissman called to send both players to a river.

The 9 river was met with checks from both players. Weissman showed A10, while Moron mucked his hand to award the pot to Weissman.

Nguyen Puts the Hammer Down

Action started with a raise from the player in the cutoff to 700. The player in the button made the call, which in turn encouraged the small blind to join in.

Albert Nguyen put an end to the fun, though, three-betting to 5,000 from the big blind.

One by one, his tablemates folded, and Nguyen scooped in the pot uncontested.

Jeschka Coolers Sakamoto

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

A big pot swelled to over 20,000 between Yuya Sakamoto and Hannes Jeschka on the board that read 54288.

Sakamoto and Jeschka got involved a sequnce of raises that ended in Jeschka going all-in for 48,800. Sakamoto called and was shown the bad news when Jeschka revealed 55 for a full house, which bested Sakamoto who showed 44 for an inferior full house.

The pot left Sakamoto with scraps and was seen leaving the room shortly after while Jeschka passed the six-figure mark early on Day 1.
