2025 World Series of Poker
Jack Duong opened to 40,000 in middle position and received an all-in shove for around 420,000 from big blind Alejandro Andion. Duong called prompting Andion to quote Martin Kabhrel's famous line, "Casino Royale!”
Alejandro Andion: A♥K♥
Jack Duong: 10♠10♣
Once the hands were tabled, however, Andion could only wail, "No.." as the dealer flopped 9♠7♠Q♠. Andion needed one of his overcards to hit the board but Duong got additional out with a flush draw, strengthening his lead.
With the turn 8♥, more outs were given to Duong for a straight draw but Andion still had minimal outs to turn things around. Finally on the river 6♠, ended Andion's anxiety and tournament run as Duong's victory was cemented with a flush.

During hand for hand at bubble time, Joshua Reichard opened to 25,000 under the gun. Action folded to the big blind Chad Awerbuch who shoved all-in for 163,000. Reichard called taking them to the flop.
Chad Awerbuch: 5♥5♣
Joshua Reichard: K♣J♣
The flop came K♦J♥Q♥ immediately giving Reichard a two pair. Awerbuch was quietly calling for a five to drop but the runout 7♦3♠ didn't help him at all, making him one of two players that burst the bubble.
Right after the hand finished, the floor moved to the next table to have the hands turned over after the following action.
Rene Majed open-shoved all-in for 106,000 on the button and got called by big blind Carlos Lam taking them to showdown.
Rene Majed: A♠J♦
Carlos Lam: A♣8♠
Majed had Lam dominated and was quite confident for a double-up. The flop came 6♠K♠5♥ giving Majed no sweat at all. The turn 2♣ didn't change the situation. But the river dashed his hopes as Lam spiked a pair when 8♦ fell.
Awerbuch and Majed will be splitting the last payout of $1,649 between them.
Action was picked up on the flop of 6♦9♥6♥, and Denis Lee checked from the small blind, and Anzhela Vasylenko moved all in with the monster stack from the button. Lee called.
Denis Lee: 6♠4♠
Anzhela Vasylenko: Q♣Q♠
Lee was sitting on trips, and the turn A♥ and the river J♠ left his trips intact, and he was able to survive the bubble.
