Little Hangs on Against Mortensen

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Jonathan Little raised to 1,300 from early position and called a three-bet of 3,500 from Sebastian Mortensen, who was in the cutoff.

Little check-called a 2,200 bet from Mortensen on the 767 flop and an 8,000 bet from Mortensen on the 2 turn.

Both players checked on the 3 turn and Little turned over 1010 for tens-up. Mortensen couldn't beat it and mucked — awarding the sizable pot to Little.

Rothschild's Aces Felt Pingray

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

David Rothschild raised from middle position, and Hugo Pingray three-bet to 4,100 from the big blind. Rothschild came back with a four-bet to 10,000, which Pingray called.

As soon as Pingray saw the dealer fan the 10K4 flop, he jammed for his remaining 48,200. Rothschild quickly called with the covering stack.

Hugo Pingray: AK All in
David Rothschild: AA

Pingray had flopped top pair, but was in terrible shape against Rothschild's overpair.

The remainder of the board ran out 67, and Pingray became the newest casualty of the Main Event.

Coles Gets Full Double... and Then Some!

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Action was picked up preflop, with Fayek Salhab in early position having 1,200 out in front of him. Andrei Mjagkov made it 5,000 from the button, and Vy Warburg cold-called the bet from the small blind.

Anthony Piacquadio did the same from the big, before under the gun player Paul Coles made it 14,000 to go. Salhab folded with a bang on the table, with Mjagkov and Warburg getting out of the way as well. Piacquadio made the call.

He then check-called a bet of 10,000 on the 953 flop, and action checked through on the 7 turn. The river was the 6 and Piacquadio checked for a third time. Coles moved all in for 16,200, and Piacquadio called. His 1010 was no good against the AA of Coles, whose stack got a massive boost.

Duran Spikes the Turn to Send Ehia Out

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Mark Duran raised to 1,000 from early position and it was folded to Cavin Ehia, who moved all in for his last 11,000 from middle position. Action folded back to Duran, who tanked a bit before tossing in a call to put Ehia at risk.

Cavin Ehia: A7All in
Mark Duran: J10

The 964 flop was safe for Ehia, but the J turn paired Duran's jack to leave Ehia drawing slim.

The 3 river bricked out and Duran was sent the rest of Ehia's chips.

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Tuan Phan opened from the cutoff to 1,200 and Kyle Montgomery defended his big blind.

The 9Q5 flop saw Montgomery check-call a 1,000 continuation bet by Phan to see the 4 turn.

Manikos Holds Steady

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

There were over 5,000 in the middle on a flop of 37A.

Jesus Valencia and Sebastian Mortensen checked out of the small and big blinds, respectively, before David Manikos put out a bet of 2,500 from the hijack. Raminder Singh called out of the cutoff.

Valencia responded with a check-raise to 10,000 in response. Mortensen folded, while Valencia hung in there with a call. Singh made the fold to leave only Manikos and Valencia in the hand.

The 5 turn did not deter Valencia, as he wagered 15,000. Manikos put in the call.

Valencia tossed out another 15,000 on the 3 river. Manikos did not think long before he called to go to a showdown.

Valencia showed AJ for aces up with a jack kicker, but the kicker would be a problem when Manikos showed AK for aces up with a king kicker to claim the pot.

Adireddy Chips Up With a Set

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Three ways to the 542Q turn, Leonidas Andriopoulos checked out of the blinds and Maksim Petrov in late position bet 1,800. Bhargav Adireddy called on the button and Andriopoulos folded. The 7 on the river completed a possible flush and Petrov bet 2,800, Adireddy called by tossing in a single T-5,000 chip.

Petrov tabled his Q10 for a turned pair of queens but it was no good, as Adireddy held 55 for a set.

Leading the way on this table is Dawid Smolka, who has already more than doubled his stack.
