Aces vs Kings vs Queens

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Derek Gregory
Derek Gregory

Joseph Driscoll raised to 3,000 from early position, and Dane Coltman jammed for 36,500 from the hijack. Derek Gregory cold-called on the button before Driscoll reshoved, covering both players. Gregory snap-called for his remaining 146,500, giving Driscoll the chance to bust two opponents.

Dane Coltman: QQ All in
Derek Gregory: AA All in
Joseph Driscoll: KK

With three premium pocket pairs being dealt, it was hardly a surprise to see all the chips find their way into the middle.

Gregory's aces stayed in front through the 7J3 flop and the 2 turn. Only a queen or king on the river could stop his stack from climbing to more than 300,000.

The dealer burned and put out the 9 river, changing nothing. Gregory more than doubled his stack, Driscoll was left with crumbs, and Coltman's Main Event came to an end.

Reyes Pays Off Klein

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Loren Klein
Loren Klein

Jaime Reyes made it 2,500 to play from early position and was looked up by Beqir Salihu in the next seat, Loren Klein in middle position and Kevin Grabel in the big blind.

The flop came 238 and it was checked to Klein who fired out for 6,000. Reyes made the call and the other players folded.

The 5 made an appearance on the turn and Reyes check-called Klein's 13,000 second barrel.

On the 10 river Reyes checked to Klein once more who fired out a third barrel of 38,000. Reyes tanked for a short while before he made the call but hastily mucked his cards on seeing Klein table AJ for the nut flush.

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Will Kassouf
Will Kassouf

Heads-up on a board of 710276 with roughly 30,000 in the pot, Pedro Neves under the gun checked. Will Kassouf on the button bet 20,000 and Neves went deep into the tank before folding.

“Show the bluff,” a player said to Kassouf, who flipped over J8.

“Jack-high like a boss,” he joked, adding that he “will not bluff again.”

Ensan Felts Nguyen

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Hossein Ensan
Hossein Ensan

With 15,000 in the pot, Hossein Ensan checked from the small blind on the 6K5 flop, and Kenny Nguyen bet 6,400 from the cutoff. Ensan check-raised to about 15,000, and after getting the clock called on him, Nguyen jammed for around 40,000. Ensan stuck in the call.

Kenny Nguyen: AK All in
Hossein Ensan: 65

Ensan had flopped two pair, leaving Nguyen needing help from the dealer to survive.

The J turn and 9 river were no help to Nguyen, who became the latest casualty of the Main Event.
