Van Blarcum Ain't Buying What Kassouf is Selling

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Will Kassouf raised to 2,900 from middle position and called a three-bet of 8,300 from Aaron Van Blarcum, who was in the hijack.

Both players checked on the 8QJ flop and then Kassouf led out for 9,700 on the 9 turn.

"Save your chips, I've got the best hand," Kassouf said as Van Blarcum contemplated his decision.

"What to do, what to do..." Van Blarcum said before tossing in a call.

The 7 completed the board and Kassouf sized up for a bet of 20,000.

"Just in case, I just call," Van Blacrum said as he tossed in calling chips.

"One pair, you're good," Kassouf said, prompting Van Blarcum to table 1010 for a straight.

"I was repping your hand!" Kassouf said.

"I was deciding if I should raise or not," Van Blacrum replied. "That's why I was tanking."

Ghassemzadeh Sends King Packing

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Bradley King raised to 2,500 on the button and snap-called when Ali Ghassemzadeh three-bet to 7,500 in the big blind.

Ghassemzadeh continued with another 7,500 bet on the J3A flop before calling when King moved all in for 33,500.

Bradley King: A2 All in
Ali Ghassemzadeh: AK

Both players had flopped top pair, but King's kicker issues had him in big trouble.

Those issues quickly vanished on the 2 turn, as King leapfrogged Ghassemzadeh into the lead. However, his joy quickly turned to despair as the 3 counterfeited his two pair, seeing Ghassemzadeh take the pot and King hit the rail.

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Maxx Holland had check-raised an earlier bet of 5,100 to 16,000 from the small blind on the 5J8 flop, and Alfredo Fernandez in middle position and Gilad Gutkin in the hijack both called.

Holland tossed in 27,000 more on the K turn. This time, only Fernandez called. Gutkin folded, leaving himself a short stack.

Holland then moved all in on the A river. Fernandez quickly folded, having just under a starting stack back. Holland showed the table 109 for a bluff, but Fernandez informed him he had the best hand as he tabled his 97.

Max Neugebauer opened to 2,400 from early position, which led to calls from Oliwer Sankiewicz in early position and Viktor Berg from middle position.

The JK9 flop was checked by all three players to bring the 5 turn. Neugebauer opted to bet 3,500, which was only called by Berg as Sankiewicz got out of the fray with a fold.

Neugebauer slowed down with a check on the A river. Berg took the opportunity to bet 5,600.

Neugebauer declined to continue any further as Berg won the pot on the river without a showdown.
