Lewis Soars Further on Day 6

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Romain Lewis
Romain Lewis

Ryan Miller raised to 120,000 under the gun. Romain Lewis called on the button, and Sam Snead flatted from the small blind.

Miller continued with a bet of 210,000 on the 4104 flop. Both opponents called to the 6 turn, where Miller sized up to 600,000. Lewis called again, but Snead check-folded.

Miller slowed down with a check on the 8 river. Lewis assembled a bet of 1,485,000 and slid it into the middle. Miller quickly folded to give up the pot.

World-Class Fold by Zhang

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Congya Zhang
Congya Zhang

Kevin Ordet raised from the cutoff and Congya Zhang three-bet to 350,000 from the button. Ordet four-bet to 650,000, prompting Zhang to click it back with a five-bet to 1,050,000. Ordet then jammed for around 2,400,000, and Zhang asked for a count.

The dealer mistakenly thought Zhang had called and announced, "All in and call," prompting Ordet to immediately table AA.

The floor was called over, and it was confirmed that Zhang had asked for a count, not made the call. Even after seeing Ordet's aces, Zhang requested the exact count before eventually folding, saying she had ace-king and preserving her stack of around 3,200,000.

Then, several players jokingly tapped the felt and congratulated Zhang on the "good fold," hailing it as a world-class laydown.

Asher Spikes a Lone Ace to Leave Ayub With Crumbs

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Kenneth Asher
Kenneth Asher

Kenneth Asher raised to 120,000 from early position and was three-bet to 500,000 by Ali Ayub in the cutoff. Action folded back to Asher, who four-bet to 1,200,000. Ayub moved all in, and Asher quickly called all in for approximately 2,400,000 to put himself at risk.

Kenneth Asher: AKAll in
Ali Ayub: KK

Asher was behind, but immediately paired his ace on the J6A flop to leave Ayub drawing to one out.

Wesley Fei and Virgile Turchi both announced they folded an ace preflop, and the dealer brought a 5 turn and 4 river to award Asher the unlikely double-up.

"This is only the second time I've been all-in in five days," a distraught Ayub said. "It was always gonna happen."

"So sick," Fei added as Asher collected the pot.

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Aaron Barone
Aaron Barone

Aaron Barone had open-raised in the hijack when Tolga Karakaya three-bet to 310,000 on the button. Barone responded with a four-bet to 745,000, which Karakaya called.

Karakaya called Barone's continuation-bet of 425,000 on the 3Q4 flop. Barone then checked the Q turn before he called Karakaya's bet of 350,000.

Barone checked again on the 5 river. Karakaya went for it all by shoving in his stack of 1,200,000. Barone spent a few minutes in the tank before he folded, conceding the pot of 3,000,000 to his opponent without showdown.

With a 60-minute delay, the stream revealed Boris Kolev's elimination.

Carlos Chadha Villamarin in middle position opened to 120,000 with 44. Ori Elul in the cutoff called before Boris Kolev on the button jammed for 455,000. Chadha Villamarin folded but Elul called.

Ori Elul: Q10

After a flop of 38K, Elul hit the Q turn to take the lead. The K river completed the board and Kolev was eliminated.

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Archimedes Arenas
Archimedes Arenas

Zhao Liu and Bahar Musa built a pot of around 800,000 as they went to a flop of Q35. Musa then bet 175,000 from early position, and Liu raised to 510,000 under the gun. Musa tanked for a few minutes before folding.

"He's my student," Wesley Fei said about Liu.

"I know who the teacher is," Ali Ayub added.

"He's the only one who can beat me," Liu replied.

At another table, Espen Sandvik had opened to 160,000 under the gun and Archimedes Arenas three-bet to 360,000 in middle position. Sandvik then moved all in, and Arenas snap-called for 2,370,000.

Archimedes Arenas: AA All in
Espen Sandvik: QQ

Arenas had Sandvik crushed with his aces, and the board ran out KJ10310 to earn him the double-up.

Karl Gets Showered; Bordet Folds jacks

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Nicola Karl
Nicola Karl

Kyle Mart raised to 120,000 from under the gun and Florian Bordet called a few seats over. Nicola Karl then squeeze-jammed for 1,340,000 from the button, and Mart moved all in over the top for around 3,000,000. Bordet, who had a similar stack to Mart, went deep into the tank before folding, flashing JxJx as he did.

Nicola Karl: KJ All in
Kyle Mart: AK

Karl was crushed by Mart's big slick, and with neither player improving on the 88295 runout, Mart's ace-high won the pot, and Karl was eliminated from the Main Event.

Mart's stack received a huge boost, while Bordet had to walk away from the table knowing his pocket jacks would have held up.

Mirabile Meets the End in Roller-Coaster Runout

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Joseph Mirabile
Joseph Mirabile

Joseph Mirabile got his 750,000 in from the big blind against Thomas Macdonald in the small blind, being the player at risk.

Joseph Mirabile: AJ All in
Thomas Macdonald: A5

"Good luck, everyone," Mirabelle stated as he stood up after the 865 board paired his opponent. He quickly sat back down when the J turn gave him a higher pair, but the 5 river improved Macdonald to trips to send Mirabile packing still.

"It's been an awesome experience," Mirabelle genuinely concluded as he left to pick up his payout.

Press Does His Best Doyle Impression

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Stephen Press moved all in for 555,000 from early position and Patrick Hagenlocher reshoved for 895,000 on the button. The action went on Rafael Caiaffa in the big blind, who took a minute to consider the decision. "Take your time, brother," Greg Mueller told him, and Caiaffa ended up folding.

Stephen Press: 102 All in
Patrick Hagenlocher: AK

"I'm going to need some help," Press said, and he got it on the J103 flop with a pair. Hagenlocher picked up a straight draw, but he couldn't catch up on the 9 turn or 5 river, and Press doubled up.

"Ten-deuce of clubs, in honor of Doyle Brunson," Mueller said.

"I had to play a bad hand," Press added. Caiaffa then claimed he folded AQ and would've made a flush to knock out both players.

Den Hartog Sent Packing by Hebbar

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Siebe den Hartog
Siebe den Hartog

Aaron Pinson made it 120,000 from middle position, and Siebe den Hartog three-bet to 1,225,000 in the cutoff, leaving himself with just a few chips behind. Shreesh Hebbar jammed from the button, covering everyone, which forced Pinson to fold. Den Hartog called off his remaining chips, and the cards were tabled.

Siebe den Hartog: QJ All in
Shreesh Hebbar: QQ

Den Hartog was in awful shape against Hebbar's ladies, and the 793 flop provided little help.

Den Hartog picked up a few outs on the 8 turn, but the 5 river was a brick, and he became the newest casualty of the Main Event.
