Leah Will Be Disappointed to Chop That

Level 36 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Mike Leah
Mike Leah

Christopher Cawlfield raised to 1,600 from early position and Eugene Pleyo jammed for 19,800,000 from middle position. Mike Leah called for his remaining 18,000,000 or so chips in the cutoff, and the rest of the table folded.

Mike Leah: AK All in
Eugene Pleyo: AQ

Leah would decimate Pleyo's stack if his big slick could stay ahead through the runout.

Pleyo picked up some chop outs on the 887 flop. A 4 turn was safe for Leah, but the 7 on the river double-paired the board, resulting in the two players chopping the pot.

Ved Takes Chunk Off Prociak

Level 36 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

David Prociak opened to 1,600,000 from the cutoff, and action folded to Kartik Ved in the big blind. He took his time before placing in a three-bet to 3,800,000. Prociak called, and the two went off to the flop.

Ved continued for 1,200,000 on a flop 88J and Prociak paid to see the turn. Action went check-check following the 9, before the dealer placed out the A on the river. Ved went deep into the tank, counted out his chips, and bet 11,100,000 after around a minute and a half, leaving just 800,000 behind.

Prociak quickly made the call, and saw the bad news as Ved's rivered top pair with A3 was enough to make him muck.

William Carter opened to 2,500,000 in middle position and when action folded around to the button, Jalil Houssain made the call.

The flop dropped Q53 and both players checked. The 2 turn fell and Carter shoved all-in for 9,000,000. Houssain didn't need much time to fold his hand, surrendering the pot to Carter.
