Event #1: $550 Mini Mystery Millions
Day 1ef Completed
The last rounds of Day 1 bags were sealed today for Event #1: $550 Mini Mystery Millions at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. There were two Day 1 flights, Day 1e and Day 1f (Turbo).
The finalised tallies for the Mini Mystery Millions are remarkable. A total of 20,488 entries across the four Day 1 flights for a total prize pool of $9,352,772. That amount is split between the prize pool ($3,649,482) and the bounties ($4,097,600). At least one of those bounties will be for $1,000,000.
The fast pace of the event means that when the field returns for Day 2 tomorrow, there will just be 792 players left in the action.
The survivors are led by Martin Pineiro with 4,205,000 in chips. He was the Day 1f chip leader, supplanting Tal Avivi at the top of the list.

The road to success at the World Series of Poker isn’t just built at the tables anymore. In 2026, players are increasingly turning to technology to sharpen their edge, streamline their schedules, and survive the grind of a long Las Vegas summer.
While real-time assistance during play is strictly prohibited, there is a growing ecosystem of tools that players can use away from the table to prepare, study, and stay organized throughout the series.
The poker world moves fast and during massive events, it’s nearly impossible to keep track of everyone. Whether you’re following a high-stakes pro, a local hero from your home game, or a family member chasing a bracelet, PokerNews makes it even easier with the new MyPlayers feed — your personalized updates feed for tracking the players you care about in one place.
Build your custom watchlist by clicking the star icon next to a player in the live reporting feed, and they’ll be pinned to the top of chip counts and tracked in a single, real-time feed as the action unfolds.
If the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is anything like 2025, it's going to be, to quote Gus Hansen, a “great summer.”
Last year's Las Vegas series had a record 100 gold bracelet events, with a record 234 bracelets awarded throughout the year, including online and multiple live stops.
The 2025 WSOP featured a rare triple-bracelet winner who wasn't even the summer's top performer.
