Event #1: $550 Mini Mystery Millions
Day 1c Completed
Day 1c of Event #1: $550 Mini Mystery Millions was the busiest flight yet, with 2,450 players cramming themselves into the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Over the course of 22 levels, that number was reduced to only 90, and Shawn Daniels (1,800,000) bagged and tagged the second-largest stack.
Daniels already has a bracelet on his wrist, having triumphed in the $777 No-Limit Hold'em Lucky 7's at the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP). The Californian has already cashed at this year's series, finishing 83rd in the $5,000 8-Handed No-Limit Hold'em event, and now he's off to a blistering start in this tournament.
Only Matthew Todd (2,300,000) finished Day 1c with more chips than Daniels, although 10 grinders from this flight will return on Day 2 with seven-figure stacks, including four-time bracelet winner Phillip Hui (1,200,000).

For years, fans have followed every part of Daniel Negreanu’s World Series of Poker grinds through his vlogs. This week, however, the seven-time WSOP bracelet winner shared something far more personal than a tournament update or high-stakes hand review.
At the start of his latest vlog, Negreanu could be seen doing some light reading from The New Father: A Dad’s Guide to the First Year.
