One Pair Too Many for Riabov

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

In the first hand of streamed play, Artem Riabov raised to 120,000 from the cutoff with KJ. Joey Weissman then put in a three-bet to 420,000 from the small blind with K10 which was called by Riabov.

Weissman continued for 240,000 on the A5A flop, and Riabov put in the call with his flush draw. The turn K brought a check from Weissman, and Riabov then took the initiative with a bet of 350,000. Weissman put in the call, leading the dealer to put out the J river.

Action checked through, and Riabov saw the bad news that both players now shared the river jack as a kicker, and the two split the pot.

Neugebauer Knocks Out Moreno

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Andrew Moreno wasted little time shoving for his final 50,000 from early position, which was less than the big blind. It folded to Max Neugebauer in the big blind, who was already in for the minimum to put Moreno at risk.

Andrew Moreno: A7All in
Max Neugebauer: J10

Moreno held the slight edge, but that lead was obliterated on the J105 flop to give Neaugebauer two pair.

The Q turn gave Moreno some hope with a straight draw, but the 6 river completed the board to eliminate Moreno and trim the field down to three tables.

Riabov Leaves Moreno With Crumbs

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

There was over 600,000 in the pot on a board that read 108K7 when this hand was picked up.

Artem Riabov bet 500,000 from early position before Andrew Moreno shoved over the top. Riabov was at risk for 2,160,000.

Artem Riabov: KJAll in
Andrew Moreno: 107

Moreno had the best hand, but Riabov had a world of outs with the flush draw and outs to a better two pair or trips.

The 2 river peeled as Riabov let out a celebration while Moreno could do nothing but pay out a significant portion of his stack.

Shortly after, Moreno would get entangled in a pot against Naseem Salem. Moreno opted to fold the flop, leaving himself with only 50,000 moving forward as his struggles continued.

Neugebauer Puts Landais to The Test

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Action was picked up on a flop of 549 with three players in the hand. Big blind Max Neugebauer checked to the under-the-gun player Andrew Moreno, who bet out for 125,000 into a pot of 375,000. Ricky Landais called on the button, and Neugebauer did the same.

Neugebauer then took the initiative on the 6 turn, with a bet of 200,000. Moreno snap-folded, but Landais put in the call. The dealer put out the J river, and Neugebauer put Landais all-in. Landais didn't take too long before folding.

Moreno Shows No Fear; Zhou Busts

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Action was picked up on a board reading J9864 with one player all-in, and two more contesting the side pot.

Prior action was recounted for PokerNews by hand winner Andrew Moreno.

Yang Zhou moved all in from middle position for just 45,000. Elijah Berg raised to 125,000 in the cutoff, and Moreno came along for the call from the big blind.

The flop checked through, and Moreno bet out for 160,000, which was called by Berg.

Moreno then checked the river, and Berg bet out for 200,000. Moreno then check-jammed his stack of around 2,600,000, which was similar to the amount Berg had in front of him. Berg quickly got away, leaving the other two to showdown.

Yang Zhou: KQ All in
Andrew Moreno: 108

Moreno had jammed with nothing but third pair, much to the kudos of the table. Yang's high cards were not enough to keep her in the tournament.

Hrabec Leaves Lichtenberger on Fumes

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Roman Hrabec
Roman Hrabec

Roman Hrabec opened to 100,000 from the cutoff and was called by Andrew Lichtenberger on the button. Fabian Gumz came along from the big blind to create a three-way pot.

It checked to Lichtenberger, who bet 125,000 on the J105 flop. Gumz bowed out with a fold, but Hrabec called.

The 4 turn was checked by Hrabec before Lichtenberger fired 750,000. Hrabec called.

Hrabec continued to check on the 4 river. Lichtenberger unleashed a third barrel to the tune of 1,900,000.

An agonized Hrabec went into the tank as he gave the spot considerable thought.

Hrabec flicked in a blue chip for a call, and Lichtenberger revealed QQ. Hrabec was relieved as he turned over AA for a better pocket pair to scoop the massive pot.
