2026 World Series of Poker
The remaining 31 players are going on a 60-minute dinner break still one elimination from the money.
Action should resume around 7:35 p.m. local time. Levels are increasing to 90 minutes from this point on.
On the stone bubble, Alex Foxen opened to 16,000 under the gun. Yueqi Zhu then three-bet to 50,000 from the cutoff, and Foxen shoved for 53,000 when action folded to him. Zhu snap-called. Both players stood pat, and tabled their hands.
Alex Foxen: 7x5x4x3x2x
Yueqi Zhu: 9x8x6x5x2x
Foxen had been dealt number one, and doubled to stay alive on the bubble
David Lin raised to 16,000 in the cutoff before Ren Lin three-bet to 50,000 on the button. David called, and they both stood pat.
David checked to Ren, who took several minutes as he eyed David's remaining stack. "Who is the action on?" tablemate Alex Foxen eventually asked. Ren ended up checking back.
David showed 9x7x6x5x4x. "He had some garbage. Queen-jack-ten," Daniel Negreanu joked.
"All in you call?" Ren asked David.
"I would think about it," David replied.
With 31 players remaining, action is going hand-for-hand until there is one more elimination.
Matthew Schreiber raised to 16,000 from the hijack with Chris Moneymaker calling from the small blind, and Ryutaro Suzuki called from the big blind.
Moneymaker and Suzuki drew one, while Schreiber stood pat.
Moneymaker bet out for 70,000 and Suzuki jammed with the covering stack. Schreiber got out of the way, Moneymaker let out a loud sigh, and then called for his remaining 180,000.
Suzuki showed the wheel with 7x5x4x3x2x to win the pot, as Moneymaker could only muster up an 8-6 with 8x6x4x3x2x.
John Hennigan moved all in for 78,000 in the hijack and Per Hildebrand called in the cutoff.
John Hennigan: 8x5x2x
Per Hildebrand: 8x7x6x5x2x
Hennigan drew two, while Hildebrand patted his 8-7. Hennigan peeked at his cards, but again didn't like what he saw and quickly tossed them away and headed for the rail.
Phil Hellmuth raised to 21,000 in the cutoff and Jason Daly three-bet to 60,000 on the button. John Hennigan then four-bet to 154,000 in the small blind and Hellmuth folded, while Daly moved all in for 398,000. Hennigan called.
Jason Daly: 10x9x3x4x2x
John Hennigan: 7x5x3x2x
Daly stood pat and needed to dodge Hennigan's draw to a seven as Hennigan took one. Hennigan took one peek at his last card, but hated what he saw and quickly tossed it away face down before handing over the massive double up to Daly.
Chris Moneymaker raised to 20,000 from the cutoff and only Ben Yu called from the big blind.
Both drew one and then both checked. Yu's Ax10x7x5x3x was good enough to win him the pot.
At a nearby table, Kane Kalas was seen putting his jacket on and leaving the tournament area, with Dennis Weiss being the player to take the rest of his chips.
Dennis Weiss moved all in for 100,000 in the hijack and Frank Kassela called on the button.
Dennis Weiss: 10x9x7x5x3x
Frank Kassela: 9x7x6♠2x
Weiss stood pat, while Kassela drew one and caught a 10x. Weiss pointed to his five that gave him the best hand and earned him the double up.
"And I broke a ten. You were beating me either way, but it's just funny that I broke a ten and hit a ten," Kassela said.
