One for One, Foxen in the Field

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Alex Foxen joined the field, and on his first hand, the action folded to him in the small blind. He limped in, and Tom Middleton checked behind.

Foxen bet 2,000 on the JAJ flop, which Middleton called. The Q turn saw Foxen continue for 7,000, and Middleton returned his cards to the dealer.

Flattered but Motivated: Joao Vieira Reacts to 25k Fantasy Draft Price

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Joao Viera
Joao Viera

In 2019, Joao Vieira won only the fourth bracelet ever by a Portuguese player. Fast forward to 2026, and he's now won four all by himself.

Vieira was one of six players who won their fourth bracelet at the 2025 WSOP, and is back this year ready for more.

We caught up with the Winamax Ambassador to see how he's settling into this year's summer and what awaits him at this year's WSOP.

Meskin Saved by the River

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Mike Meskin was already all in and at risk against Carlos Pombal Peixoto, who sat to his direct left. Meskin had just secured a double-up after getting his remaining chips in with pocket queens for his last ~30,000.

Mike Meskin: QQAll in
Carlos Pombal Peixoto: AQ

The A55 flop was looking scary for Meskin, and Peixoto took the lead. There was no help on the 2 turn either, but a Q river was enough to save him from an early elimination.

Reard Gets Sticky

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

There were roughly 24,000 chips in the pot on 893.

Alexandre Reard, who was in early position, checked to Chance Kornuth on the button, who decided to fire out a bet of 17,500, and Reard called.

The 4 on the turn did not slow Kornuth down, and he bet 36,000. Reard called again.

Both players checked on the 4 river, and Reard tabled the winner with AK.

Moron Steals on the Turn

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Barak Wisbrod opened to 2,500 from early position, and Keyavash Hemyari called on the button. Ignacio Moron defended the big blind, and the players went three-way to the flop.

The dealer fanned the 6J4, and action checked to Hemyari, who bet 3,000. Only Moron stuck around to get to the 6 turn.

Moron led out 5,000, which prompted Hemyari to make a quick fold.

Third Pair Good for Lijo

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Yulian Bogdanov made it 3,500 to play from the hijack and was looked up by Lander Lijo in the big blind.

The flop came 752 and Lijo check-called Bogdanov's 6,000 continuation-bet.

The players checked down the 9 turn and 5 river with Lijo tabling A3 for third pair and ace kicker, which was good as Bogdanov mucked his hand.

Middleton Attempts to Trap

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Viktor Blom opened to 4,000 on the button, and Tom Middleton called, defending his big blind.

The action checked all the way through on the 4569Q board, and Middleton showed he was lying in the weeds on the river when he tabled AQ for the winner.
