The sickest final table ever in a $600 buy-in World Series of Poker (WSOP) event will get underway Tuesday evening, and it includes two of the best WSOP Circuit grinders ever — Maurice Hawkins and Josh Reichard.

Here's where it gets crazy: Two of the top high-stakes pros in history — Daniel Negreanu and Alex Foxen — are at that same table. Basically, it's a battle of high-stakes G.O.A.T.S. versus mid-stakes G.O.A.T.S. for a WSOP bracelet.

Braxton Dunaway opened to 200,000 from the hijack. Yaniv Peretz in the cutoff three-bet for 2,000,000 with only 490,000 behind, and was called by Erwann Pecheux on the button. Dunaway folded.

The dealer fanned a flop of J♦3♦6♥ and Peretz moved all-in. Pecheux snap-called.

Pecheux was in the lead but Peretz had a nut flush draw. The 9♣ turn changed nothing but the 5♣ river gave a pair to Peretz, allowing him to double up.

He three-bet in the next hand and won an extra million.

Braxton Dunaway opened to 400,000 from under the gun and Briant Alavez three-bet to 1,100,000. Dunaway asked for a count and paused before making the call.

A A♣6♠Q♦ flop prompted Alavez to bet 500,000 and Dunaway made a very swift call. The pair were taken to a 9♦ turn and Alavez bet out 700,000. Dunaway raised to 2,525,000 sending Alavez into the tank.

After around a minute of staring at the board, and looking at his opponent, Alavez mucked his hand and Dunaway took some of his chips back having doubled up Alavez in the previous level.

Erwann Pecheux opened to 400,000 from under the gun and Braxton Dunaway three-bet to 850,000. Pecheux called, and the players were taken to the Q♣7♣5♥ flop.

Dunaway bet 600,000 and Pecheux called to see the 4♠ turn. Both checked to find the 3♠ river and again to showdown. Dunaway showed his ace high A♠9♠ and Pecheux tabled his 8♥7♥ for a pair of sevens which was enough to take the pot.

The action was picked up on a board of K♦2♥5♠8♠ with Braxton Dunaway in the cutoff who continued for 400,000. Briant Alavez was in the big blind and check-raised to 1,200,000, but Dunaway didn't back down and quickly called.

The 9♠ river completed the board and Alavez bet 700,000. Dunaway grabbed a pile of blue chips and raised to 2,400,000, slightly more than Alavez's stack. The Mexican player went deep into the tank and eventually made the call.

Dunaway applied maximum pressure with top pair but Alavez called with two pair and doubled up.

With around 500,000 separating the top two stacks, Braxton Dunaway and Erwann Pecheux were caught in a battle for the lead.

Dunaway opened to 300,000 from under the gun and Pecheux called from the small blind. The pair saw a 7♦Q♠6♦ flop and Pecheux check-called a 200,000 bet by Dunaway. A 3♣ turn was checked by both to see the Q♥ river where Pecheux bet 875,000 and Dunaway mucked.

In the next hand Dunaway passed some across to Yaniv Peretz after Peretz opened from under the gun and Dunaway defended his big blind. Dunaway gave up on the 7♠3♥J♣ flop after facing a 250,000 continuation bet by Peretz.

A few hands later, Dunaway opened on the button for 300,000 and Pecheux defended the big blind. A 9♥J♥2♦ flop was check-called by Pecheux after Dunaway bet 350,000. A 7♣ turn saw Pechaux check, Dunaway bet 900,000 and Pecheux reluctantly fold.

Dunaway came out on top, and started to pull away from the remaining players, sitting with a dominating stack of over 80 big blinds.

After jamming a few hands and seeing no takers, Kimon Fountoukidis was all in for his remaining stack of approximately 1,700,000 on the button. Braxton Dunaway, who was sitting in the big blind as one of the bigger stacks snap-called, putting Fountoukidis at risk.

Dunaway had the edge, and he kept ahead on the K♠8♥5♠ flop. There was no change for Fountoukidis after being dealt the K♣ turn and A♠ river, and he hit the rail in fifth place, taking home $70,300.
