Moments after Bryn Kenney was eliminated from the table, Ren Lin on the button jammed for 630,000 and was called by Chang Lee in the big blind.
Ren Lin: K♦Q♦
Chang Lee: 5♦5♥
Lee flopped a set on Q♣5♠9♥10♠7♥ and kindly shook Lin’s hand after sending him to the rail.
Catching the action on a K♣10♣Q♦3♠ turn, Jovan Kenjic bet 305,000 into a pot of 275,000 from the big blind. Zackary Estes called in the hijack, after which the 10♦ river was dealt.
Kenjic put in another 300,000, but this time Estes raised all in, covering Kenjic's stack of 1,000,000.
Kenjic spent four of his time banks before he found a fold, surrendering the pot without showdown.
Shortly before the hand, Bryn Kenney lost the remainder of his chips at another table, while Stephen Chidwick was the short stack at this table and busted not much later.
Cary Katz opened to 120,000 from the hijack and John Kincaid called from the cutoff. Action folded through the blinds and the players went heads up to the 7♠3♠K♣ flop.
Kincaid bet 120,000 and Katz called to see the 8♦ turn. Both made quick checks to the 7♥ river and again to showdown.
Katz showed A♠J♥ for ace high and Kincaid tabled his 10♠10♦ to take the pot.
Heads up to the 3♥5♥5♠ flop, Christopher Nguyen checked from the big blind to Martin Kabrhel in early position. Kabrhel bet 50,000, and Nguyen called.
Kabrhel sized up to 160,000 on the 5♦ turn, again seeing his opponent check-call. After a third check from Nguyen on the K♥ river, Kabrhel quickly moved his stack all in, covering Nguyen's 670,000.
Nguyen snap-called. Kabrhel only briefly flashed his cards before Nguyen tabled K♥Q♣ for a full house to take the pot.
During the hand, Punnat Punsri got his stack of roughly 1,100,000 in preflop with AxKx against Brandon Wilson's QxQx at another table.
Punsri could not find any help on the board, and his chips were added to Wilson's giant stack.
The board read Q♠J♠5♠3♣J♦ when Martin Kabrhel in the cutoff bet 505,000. After some time, Biao Ding in the big blind raised all-in for 1,300,000.
Kabrhel went deep into the tank, even covering his ears to think in silence. “Okay, I’m gonna do something,” he said after using five time-bank extensions before eventually making the call.
Ding immediately flipped over 3♥3♦ for a full house. Kabrhel checked his cards for a long moment before sending them into the muck.
Biao Ding opened to 100,000 from the hijack and Jason Koon moved all in from the small blind for his remaining ~400,000.
Jason Koon: A♦J♥
Biao Ding: A♥A♠
There was some hope for Koon on the monotone diamond 4♦8♦7♦ flop, as he was holding the ace for the nut flush draw.
His hopes of remaining in his seat ended after being dealt the Q♣ turn and 9♣ river.
Thomas Muehloecker had committed his stack of roughly 1,500,000 from the small blind, and was looked up by Sam Soverel in the hijack.
Thomas Muehloecker: 8♦8♣
Sam Soverel: A♠K♠
Soverel paired up on the 6♦2♠A♦ flop. Muehloecker could not find an eight on the 7♦ turn or 10♣ river, knocking him out of the tournament.
