Having just taken a seat in the $100,000 High Roller event during the last level of late registration, Michael Moncek was all in for his entire 500,000 stack from early position. Action folded around to Kristen Foxen, who called off her last 210,000 from the small blind.
Kristen Foxen: 6♠6♣
Michael Moncek: K♠Q♠
Foxen was ahead, but the J♠Q♣3♣ flop immediately went Moncek's way. Foxen saw no more sixes and hit the rail after seeing the 2♥ turn and A♥ river complete the board.
Mikita Badziakouski was sitting under the gun with the all-in button in front of his stack. Action was on Zackary Estes in the hijack, who had already committed 240,000 to the pot. Estes called off his remaining stack, putting himself at risk for 625,000.
Zackary Estes: A♦K♦
Mikita Badziakouski: K♥K♣
Estes missed on the 8♣8♠7♦ flop, but the dealer peeled an A♣ turn, which put him ahead. The Q♠ river didn't change the outcome, and he remained in the tournament and had double the stack to play with.
Level: 12
Blinds: 15,000/30,000
Ante: 30,000
Yosuke Miki in the small blind moved all in for 325,000 on a flop of 5♦J♥Q♥ with 375,000 already in the pot. Bryn Kenney in the big blind eventually made the call.
Yosuke Miki: K♦9♣
Bryn Kenney: A♠K♠
Kenney’s call with ace-high was good enough to eliminate Miki, as the 5♣8♣ runout failed to improve the Japanese player’s hand.
Arriving on the 2♥5♠J♣5♥A♦ river, Chris Hunichen checked from the big blind to Santhosh Suvarna in the hijack. Suvarna fired a bet of 145,000 into the pot of 280,000, only to be raised all-in by Hunichen.
Suvarna took some time to consider his options, but ultimately called off his stack of 420,000. Hunichen revealed 5♥4♦ for trip fives, sending the recent $50k champion to the rail with his A♣8♥.
Two hands later, Andrew Lichtenberger open-shoved his 240,000 remaining stack from the cutoff. Hunichen called on the button before big blind Ramiro Salinas three-bet all in for 725,000. Hunichen asked for a count, then called.
Andrew Lichtenberger: A♣3♠
Ramiro Salinas: A♦J♣
Chris Hunichen: 6♦6♣
Hunichen's pocket pair remained best on the 2♠3♣7♠K♠2♦ runout, eliminating two more players to increase his stack above the two-million mark.
Jason Koon opened from the hijack to 50,000, and action folded to Zackary Estes, who moved all in from the big blind for 350,000.
Koon called and turned over his king-queen offsuit. Estes was looking to hold, having a pair of sixes, and the pair looked to the board for the runout.
Zackary Estes: 6♣6♠
Jason Koon: K♠Q♦
With the 9♦9♣9♠ flop giving Estes a boat, he remained in his seat after the 5♠ turn and 10♣ river was placed.
Artur Martirosian was in early position when he bet 50,000 on A♦10♠J♦. Martin Kabrhel in the small blind check-called.
Both players checked the 6♥ turn, leading to the 7♠ river, where Kabrhel led out for 35,000. Martirosian raised to 160,000 and made Kabrhel fold.
"Arturius, you're probably top six player at the table, including the dealer," Kabrhel joked while folding.
