On the J5Q flop, Crites check-called Baird's 35,000 continuation-bet for the players to see the 3 peel off on the turn.

The action went check check, as it did on the 10 river.

Crites tabled K10 for a rivered third pair, which was good as Baird mucked his cards.

"I can never beat you in a pot", complained Baird, "Always when you are in the big blind!"

Marc Rivera in the big blind, John Esposito in middle position, and Shannon Pearce in late had grown the pot to around 100,000 iwhen the flop dropped 3K6. All players checked.

The turn 4 fell and Rivera bet 40,000. Esposito replied with an all-in shove for 207,000. Peace got out of the way, and when action returned to him, Rivera called, taking to the ensuing showdown.

The river 7 was peeled evoking a groan of disgust on the table, and triggering Esposito to get on his feet and shout in frustration, asking PokerNews "Did you get that?"
