Level: 29
Blinds: 100,000/150,000
Ante: 150,000
The remaining nine players are headed on a 15-minute break, and will return to blinds of 100,000/150,000/150,000.
Gary Herstein raised to 250,000 from early position, Qing Lu called from the hijack, and Arie Kliper called from the cutoff. Chad Lipton was in the big blind, and three-bet to 1,000,000. Herstein was the lone caller.
The flop came 5♠A♣J♥, Lipton bet 700,000, and Herstein raised to 1,700,000. Lipton called. Both players then checked the turn 4♦ and the river 9♥.
Lipton flipped over A♦K♦ for a pair of aces and the win, as Herstein mucked.
"I raised too small preflop." Lipton remarked.
Luke Graham opened to 250,000 and Gary Herstein three-bet to 700,000. Graham, not to be outdone, four-bet to 2,100,000. Herstein looked at Graham for a few seconds then five-bet all in for 3,270,000. Graham snap-called taking them to a showdown.
Gary Herstein: A♣A♥
Luke Graham: Q♥Q♠
An audible gasp was heard around the table when the hands were tabled. Herstein's aces held on the 6♣9♦K♦ flop and was looking at a potentially massive double-up.
The dealer peeled a 10♣ turn and a 2♠ river, securing the double-up and leaving Graham visibly frustrated.
Nariman Yaghmai moved all in from the cutoff for 1,265,000 and Gary Herstein called on the button.
Nariman Yaghmai: 10♠10♥
Gary Herstein: 8♠8♥
The dealer dropped 2♠9♣K♠K♦Q♠, and Yahmai's better two pair won a nice double.

Manish Madan open-shoved for 1,200,000 and Gary Herstein called him in the big blind taking them to a showdown.
Manish Madan: 7♦2♠
Gary Herstein : Q♦J♣
The board ran 10♣10♦J♥6♠5♣ and with Kliper hitting the board on the flop, Madan was sent to the payout counter. When Herstein asked why he shoved all in, Madan only answered, "It's time for me to go."
Quoc Le opened to 250,000 from under the gun and Qing Lu on the button called.
The flop came Q♦8♣4♦ and Le check-called Lu's bet of 300,000.
The Q♥ turn fell and after the action checked to her, Lu fired 700,000. Le shoved all in and Lu made the call.
Quoc Le: Q♣10♣
Qing Lu: A♦Q♠
Both players caught trips on the turn but Lu had the superior kicker. The dealer completed the board with a 7♣ river, sending Le to hit the rails.
