Qing Lu made it 500,000 under the gun and Arie Kliper three-bet from the next seat to 1,260,000. Lu gave it plenty of thought before deciding a fold was best, and Kliper pulled in the pot.

A couple of hands later, Lu bumped it up to 425,000 on the button and Kliper was the lone caller from the small blind.

Kliper checked it over to Lu on the 3Q8 flop and Lu fired a continuation-bet of 400,000. Kliper just called.

Upon seeing the 9 drop on the turn, Kliper led out for 500,000. Lu folded, and once again surrendered the pot to Kliper.

Gary Herstein's stack has been heading in the wrong direction after losing three consecutive pots.

On the first hand, Herstein made it 325,000 to go from the small blind and Marc Rivera called in the big blind.

Herstein checked on the 367 flop before folding after Rivera fired out a bet of 400,000.

Next, Herstein made it 375,000 on the button and Rivera three-bet the small blind to 900,000. Qing Lu, in the big blind, squeezed her cards before four-bet jamming with the covering stack.

Herstein began patting the right side of his chest for around 20 seconds before reluctantly giving up the hand. Rivera immediately folded behind, and Lu collected the pot without a flop being dealt.

Then, Herstein made it 325,000 in the cutoff with Lu calling from the small blind and Arie Kliper defending from the big blind.

All three players checked the 677 flop to see the 8 turn. Lu checked, Kliper bet 510,000, and that was enough to get folds from both opponents.

Marc Rivera

Marc Rivera raised to 1,700,000 from the cutoff with just 15,000 behind. Qing Lu called on the button and the flop came down 57Q. Rivera's last chips got into the middle and Lu quickly called.

Marc Rivera: A5 All in
Qing Lu: A9

Rivera had outflopped Lu by pairing his five and just needed to dodge a nine to keep his hopes of winning a first bracelet alive.

The 4 turn and A river changed nothing, and Rivera secured the much-needed double-up at Lu's expense.
