2026 World Series of Poker
Thomas Boivin checked the 3♥9♦8♦ flop from the small blind, and Christoph Vogelsang did the same from the big blind. Dejan Kaladjurdjevic slid out a bet of 100,000 on the button, and Boivin replied with a check-raise for his last 250,000 chips.
Vogelsang got out of the way, and Kaladjurdjevic made the quick call.
Thomas Boivin: Q♥10♠
Dejan Kaladjurdjevic: A♦9♣
Kaladjurdjevic turned over his pair and held through the 5♥ turn and 3♦ river to send Boivin out before the end-of-registration break.
With 600,000 in the pot on a full board of 6♠A♣J♦K♥9♠, Vinny Lingham jammed from middle position for 595,000 into Daniel Negreanu.
Negreanu, who was seated on the button, didn't take long to fold as he laughed and said to Lingham, "Ace-nine, you got there on me with ace-nine?"
Negreanu folded, and Lingham turned over Q♥10♥ for a turned straight.
Christoph Vogelsang raised from the cutoff and Alex Foxen jammed for around 460,000 from the small blind. Vogelsang called and the players flipped over their cards.
Alex Foxen: K♥K♦
Christoph Vogelsang: A♥10♦
Foxen had Vogelsang crushed, and the monotone 5♦Q♦9♦ flop even removed one of Vogelsang's outs.
The rest of the board ran out 2♣K♠ and Foxen doubled up to around one million chips.
Leon Sturm moved his last 115,000 into the middle from the cutoff, and was at risk when Martin Kabrhel announced all in from the small blind.
Leon Sturm: A♦10♣
Martin Kabrhel: 7♠7♥
"Good luck on your next bullet," Kabrhel said and the players revealed the flip. Sturm was unable to connect on the Q♦8♦5♠Q♥K♣ runout, standing up from the table and collecting his belongings.
"We need a new player," Kabrhel quickly called out to the tournament director as he raked in another pot.
Martin Kabrhel opened from under the gun and Samuel Mullur three-bet the cutoff. Kabrhel called and the flop fell 6♣6♠9♦.
Kabrhel started out with a check, and Mullur continued for 235,000. Kabrhel elected to call.
Two checks came after the 3♣ turn before the J♠ completed the board. Kabrhel then slid forward 1,135,000 while leaving himself with just one red T-5,000 chip behind.
Mullur removed his headphones and went deep into the tank. While burning through multiple time banks, Kabrhel began inching his cards toward the muck while keeping a hand protectively on top of them.
After around three minutes, Mullur flicked in the call. Kabrhel confidently rolled over A♣J♣ for a rivered pair of jacks to earn the double-up, while Mullur tossed his cards to the muck.
Biao Ding raised the button to 80,000 and David Einhorn called from the big blind.
Einhorn check-called a continuation-bet of 55,000 from Ding on the 6♣3♠9♥ flop.
A J♣ came on the turn and Einhorn check-called a second bet from Ding, this time for 220,000.
Einhorn knuckled it over to Ding for the final time on the 7♦ river and Ding emptied the clip with a third and final barrel of 400,000.
Einhorn burned through a couple of time banks before eventually folding, surrendering the pot to Ding.
Martin Kabrhel checked the Q♦5♥J♦ flop from the hijack, and Aleksejs Ponakovs fired a bet of 115,000 in the cutoff. Kabrhel then check-raised to 255,000, and Ponakovs replied with a three-bet to 450,000.
Kabrhel used most of his 30-second clock before four-betting to 650,000, and Ponakovs used a time bank card before making the call.
Both players then checked the 3♣ turn, and the dealer flipped over the J♣ river. Kabrhel used a time bank card before moving almost all of his stack into the middle, betting 1,155,000 while keeping a single red 5,000 chip behind.
Ponakovs thought it over before sending his cards into the muck, and Kabrhel stayed silent while revealing the 6♥ as he raked in a big pot.
Ignacio Moron checked the J♥K♦J♦ flop from the small blind, Santhosh Suvarna did the same in the big blind. Vinny Lingham also tapped the table from under the gun, and Jason Koon slid out a bet of 40,000.
Moron folded, while Suvarna and Lingham called to see the A♣ turn. All three players checked, and the 8♣ river completed the board.
Suvarna and Lingham checked again, while Koon fired a bet of 110,000 into the middle. Suvarna folded quickly, and Lingham used a time bank card before letting his hand go.
Martin Kabrhel announced to the rest of the field, "Such an easy table draw I have; must be the easiest table draw I have by far."
Kabrhel is seated with Leon Sturm, Mikita Badziakouski, Aleksejs Ponakovs, Samuel Mullur, and Artur Martirosian.
Sean Winter chimed in from a nearby table, "In my opinion, you have a hard table draw."
Kabrhel was curious to hear who Winter thought was tough at his table as he replied, "Who? Who is tough apart from me? Artur?"
He then continued, "Artur is playing way too many hands; I think he wants to go back to Russia soon."
Martirosian remained completely motionless throughout the exchange before quietly raising the very next hand.
