Foxen Bets Twice to Get Roiter Out

Kristen Foxen opened to 60,000 under the gun and only Klemens Roiter came along from the small blind.

Roiter check-called a continuation-bet of 60,000 from Foxen on the 93Q flop.

A 2 hit the turn and Roiter check-folded against Foxen's 175,000 double barrel.

Negreanu Has Kicker Problems

Level 9 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Daniel Negreanu raised to 75,000 from under the gun and only Vinny Lingham called on the button.

Negreanu fired for 50,000 on the AJ6 flop and Lingham called.

A 3 came on the turn and Negreanu fired again, this time for 100,000. Again, Lingham called.

Both players checked the 7 river and Negreanu announced, "Ace."

Lingham immediately showed AQ for a pair of aces with a queen kicker, and Negreanu mucked while revealing the A of his own.

Heath Shoves on Foxen

Level 9 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kristen Foxen raised to 65,000 in the hijack, and action folded to Ben Heath in the small blind.

After taking a moment, Heath moved all in and the dealer counted his stack of 605,000. Foxen confirmed the count before letting her hand go, and Heath added new chips to his short stack.

Sturm Doubles Through Ponakovs

Artur Martirosian opened to 65,000 in the hijack before Leon Sturm moved all in for his last 145,000 in the cutoff. Aleksejs Ponakovs announced a four-bet to 255,000 from the big blind.

Martirosian got out of the way, and the cards were turned up.

Sturm connected right away on the 10105A3 runout, making trip tens to beat the pair of Ponakovs to stay alive.

Arends Takes Small Pot

Christoph Vogelsang opened to 65,000 in early position, finding a call from Jans Arends on his immediate left.

Both players declined to bet the A54 flop, and another pair of checks followed the 6 turn.

Vogelsang checked one last time after seeing the 3 river, and Arends slid out a bet of 150,000. That produced a fold from Vogelsang, as Arends collected the small pot.

Vogelsang Pays to See Eibinger's Boat

Dejan Kaladjurdjevic raised to 65,000 under the gun with Christoph Vogelsang calling in the cutoff and Matthias Eibinger defending from the big blind.

All three players checked the 522 flop and the 6 hit the turn. Eibinger led out for 130,000, and only Vogelsang stuck around with a call.

Eibinger fired for 325,000 on the 3 river and, after a bit of thought, Vogelsang put in the call.

Eibinger tabled 32 for a full house, and Vogelsang mucked his cards.

Chidwick Takes From Kulev

From the cutoff, Stephen Chidwick raised and Alex Kulev defended his big blind.

Kulev check-called a bet of 40,000 from Chidwick on the 9109 flop.

The turn came the 4 and Kulev check-called another bet from Chidwick, this time for 190,000.

Both players checked the K river and Kulev tabled 104 for two pair. Chidwick had that beat with K5 for a higher two pair on the river.

Kulev Back-Jams on Straver

Level 9 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Sean Winter raised to 65,000 in the cutoff with Alex Kulev calling on the button, Johannes Straver calling from the small blind, and Biao Ding coming along from the big blind.

When it checked to Winter on the 225 flop, he continued for 40,000, which Kulev called. Straver then check-raised to 145,000, forcing folds from Ding and Winter.

Kulev took inventory of his stack before back-raising all in for 750,000. Straver snap-folded and Kulev was awarded the pot.

Badziakouski Checks Down a Winner

Level 9 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Christoph Vogelsang led out for 225,000 from the small blind on the 495 flop, and Mikita Badziakouski made the call in the cutoff.

The J turn produced checks from both players, and Vogelsang checked again on the 10 river.

"I hope you don't have ace-ten," said Badziakouski as he checked it back.

"I don't," answered Vogelsang who revealed A6. Badziakouski showed 77, and the pot was shipped his way.

Straver Forces Einhorn Out on the Flop

Level 9 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

From the hijack, Johannes Straver came in for a raise to 60,000 and only David Einhorn called on the button.

Straver knuckled it over to Einhorn on the 86J flop and Einhorn decided to bet 60,000. Straver check-raised to 225,000, which forced a fold from Einhorn.
