2026 World Series of Poker
Emilien Pitavy raised to 230,000 in the cutoff, and Dejan Kaladjurdjevic defended his big blind to the K♦8♦J♠ flop.
Kaladjurdjevic checked to Pitavy, who slid out a bet of 100,000. Kaladjurdjevic then moved all in for 400,000, and Pitavy took some time before sticking in a call.
Dejan Kaladjurdjevic: Q♦8♥
Emilien Pitavy: A♥4♥
Kaladjurdjevic dodged an ace on the 5♣ turn and 10♣ river, earning the full double through Pitavy.
The Performance of the Day award at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) goes to Martin Zamani.
No, he didn't dominate a final table to win a bracelet or silence Martin Kabrhel. He did something that is arguably even more impressive, and that is to approach the bubble in two separate high-stakes events at the same time, and potentially cash in both tournaments.
Level: 14
Blinds: 50,000/100,000
Ante: 100,000
Heads-up on a flop of Q♦8♠3♣, Matthias Eibinger in the small blind with 7♠7♥ and Michael Moncek in the big blind with K♣4♣ both checked and checked the K♠ turn.
Eibinger checked the A♠ river as well but Moncek bet 350,000. Eibinger went into the tank and called, but his pocket sevens were not good against Moncek's pair of kings.
Bryn Kenney raised to 175,000 with A♣J♣ from under the gun, and Yosuke Miki three-bet to 430,000 holding A♠J♦ in the hijack.
Kenney called to the 4♣Q♣4♠ flop and checked to Miki, who fired 200,000.
Kenney took a moment before raising to 1,420,000, earning a fold from Miki to claim the pot.
Kristen Foxen opened to 160,000 from the cutoff. David Einhorn on the button three-bet to 450,000, then Foxen moved all in for 2,110,000.
Einhorn asked for a count and went deep into the tank but eventually folded.
Ignacio Moron opened to 160,000 from the hijack, and Brandon Wilson replied with a three-bet to 2,435,000 in the small blind. Moron called off his total of 1,755,000, and the hands were turned up.
Ignacio Moron: 8♥8♦
Brandon Wilson: A♣K♦
Wilson connected with the Q♦A♠3♥2♦10♣ runout, hitting top pair to win the pot and send Moron to the rail.
Matthias Eibinger raised to 160,000 from the hijack. Phil Ivey in the small blind jammed for 470,000, and Kristen Foxen folded 4♠4♣ in the big blind.
Phil Ivey: K♣K♠
Matthias Eibinger: K♥Q♦
Ivey kept the lead all the way through a board of A♣2♥Q♥2♦A♠ and he doubled up.
Stanley Tang opened to 400,000 from the button. Ignacio Moron in the small blind with A♠9♥ went into the tank but folded, while Peter Wang in the big blind immediately moved all in for 865,000. Tang snap-called.
Peter Wang: 10♠10♦
Stanley Tang: A♥7♥
The board ran out J♣5♥2♠9♠7♦ so Wang doubled up.
Stephen Chidwick raised to 180,000 from under the gun with A♠10♣, and Dejan Kaladjurdjevic made the call as next to act holding 8♠8♥. Samuel Mullur then announced a three-bet from the big blind to 840,000 with K♠K♥, and Chidwick got out of the way.
Kaladjurdjevic called to see the A♠6♠3♠ flop, and Kaladjurdjevic led out for 200,000. The call was made, and the dealer flipped over the 5♠ turn.
Mullur fired again for 1,100,000, and Kaladjurdjevic used a time bank card before making another call.
The 7♣ river hit the felt, and Mullur counted out a bet of 1,400,000. Kaladjurdjevic tossed in three time bank cards to reach a decision, opting to make the call.
