Matthias Eibinger in the cutoff opened to 160,000 with K♠10♥ and was called by both Michael Moncek on the button with 8♣7♣ and Phil Ivey in the big blind with 10♠9♠.
All three of them checked the 10♦J♥4♣ flop, but after Ivey and Eibinger checked the 5♠ turn, Moncek bet 380,000. Ivey check-called but Eibinger check-raised to 850,000. Moncek was the only one to call.
The 2♠ landed on the river but was checked by both players so Eibinger won the pot with his pair of tens.
Emilien Pitavy raised to 160,000 in early position, and Nick Petrangelo defended his big blind to see the 2♠7♥3♠ flop.
Petrangelo checked to Pitavy, who continued for 110,000. The call was made, and another check from Petrangelo followed the K♥ turn.
Pitavy announced a bet, and Petrangelo folded before the chips were moved forward.
Michael Moncek under the gun raised to 160,000 with 10♦10♣ and the 2024 $250,000 champion Santhosh Suvarna in the big blind defended with J♦2♦.
Moncek flopped a boat on 2♠2♥10♥ but checked back to set the trap. After Suvarna checked the 7♦ however, he bet 180,000. Suvarna with trips called.
Suvarna checked again the 9♥ river. Moncek fired more than 1,000,000 and received a call by Suvarna who had 680,000 behind and was eliminated.
Adrian Mateos opened to 160,000 in the cutoff, and Brandon Wilson made the call on the button. Biao Ding then three-bet to 770,000 in the small blind, and Mateos moved all in for 3,505,000.
Wilson folded, and Ding stuck in the call.
Adrian Mateos: A♠A♣
Biao Ding: 10♣10♥
Ding was behind but added a straight draw on the 9♦8♦7♦ flop. Mateos watched as the 7♥ turn and 8♥ river were safe to secure the double-up.
Heads-up on a flop of 9♣4♥5♦, Stephen Chidwick in the big blind with Q♠10♦ and Bryn Kenney in early position with K♦7♦ both checked.
Chidwick paired his queen with the Q♥ turn but checked. Kenney checked back, but Chidwick eventually bet 375,000 on the 4♣ river.
Kenney took his cap off, looked at his cards and folded.
Sean Winter in the cutoff with A♦Q♦ raised to 175,000. Peter Wang in the big blind called with J♦8♥ to discover a flop of 7♥7♣2♦.
Winte's continuation bet to 125,000 was check-called by Wang who bet 250,000 on the 6♣ turn. Winter called.
The 10♦ landed on the river but was checked by both players, so the pot was for Winter.
Samuel Mullur opened to 160,000 from under the gun, and Bryn Kenney slid out a three-bet to 400,000. Mullur answered with a four-bet to 1,200,000 and called when Kenney moved all in for 2,100,000.
Bryn Kenney: 8♣8♦
Samuel Mullur: Q♥Q♦
Mullur was in a dominant position, and remained ahead through the 4♥A♣2♣ flop. Kenney picked up additional outs on the 4♣ turn, completing his flush on the 3♣ river to stay alive.
Santhosh Suvarna on the button raised to 160,000 with K♦J♠ and Jason Koon defended from the big blind with J♥7♥.
Suvarna continued for 125,000 on the J♣3♥9♣ flop, then fired a second barrel to 250,000 on the K♥ turn. Koon check-called both times.
The A♥ river completed a flush for Koon who checked. Suvarna quickly checked back with two pair only to realize that Koon rivered the best hand.
Jason Koon opened to 175,000 in early position with 10♠10♣, and David Einhorn called holding A♠J♣ on the button. Santhosh Suvarna looked down at 10♦8♥ in the big blind and slid in the call, checking on the 6♦J♦8♠ flop.
Koon followed with a check, and Einhorn bet 475,000. Suvarna called before Koon slid his cards into the muck.
