Ivarsson Triples Up

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

From the big blind, Alexander Ivarsson tossed in his final chips on the K1027 flop. Carlo van Ravenswoud in middle position and Corel Theuma in the small blind both called, creating a pot of roughly 50,000, after which the Q appeared on the river.

The action was quickly checked to showdown, where Ivarsson scooped the pot with AJ843 for rivered Broadway.

Manns and Rodrigues Chop Four-Way Pot

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Picking up the action on a 9786K river, it checked to Michael Rodrigues in the cutoff, who barreled a pot-sized bet of 26,100 into the middle. Brian Brunner folded in the big blind before Sascha Manns called under the gun.

Brandon Will took some time in the hijack, but mucked his cards after a small tank. Rodrigues tabled A7632 for the nut low, while Manns took the high half of the pot with KJ9104 for the nut straight.

After some earlier action, Daniel Hirsh made it 2,100 to go in the cutoff. Tyler Phillips called on the button, Ryan Johnson did so in the big blind, and Alfie Adam came along from the hijack.

Johnson then led out for 5,000 on the 7510 flop. Adam folded, but Hirsh had other plans and raised to 19,900. Phillips quickly let go of his cards before Johnson called to the 9 turn.

He then led again, this time for an all-in bet of 27,500. Hirsh quickly gave up on the hand, tabling the A as he folded. Johnson was kind enough to show AK852 for the second nuts, and he stacked up his newly acquired chips.

"It felt like the naked ace," Johnson said to Hirsh.

"Everyone played that hand well," tablemate Allen Kessler concluded.

Smith Brings Himself to Valuetown

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Dylan Smith in the cutoff and David Bullinger on the button had each committed 5,000 on the 693 flop when they checked through the 10 turn.

Smith then fired 4,000 on the J river. Bullinger called, seeing Smith open AKKQ2 for a straight. Bullinger had a flush with A7522, however and was awarded the pot.
