Allen Rivers Nuts, Gets Paid

In a small pot of 10,500, hijack Richie Allen checked the JK7Q2 river to David Bullinger on the button. Bullinger bet 4,000, which Allen raised to 22,500.

Bullinger confirmed the amount before he reluctantly called. Allen tabled A10J92 for the nut flush, and Bullinger sighed as he added his cards to the muck.

Dejan Kaladjurdjevic knows what it takes to run deep in a super high roller. The Montenegrin high-stakes player pulled that off in the 2024 Triton Montenegro $125K NLH Main Event where his second place finish earned him a $3,196,000 payout.

However, his first attempt at the $250,000 Super High Roller title at the 2026 World Series of Poker went up in flames after he attempted an ambitious five-high bluff in one of the opening levels of the summer's biggest buy-in tournament.

Sammartino Pots as 20 Percent of Cards Get Tabled

Jason Tomei raised to 1,000 in middle position. Casey Carroll called in the hijack before Dario Sammartino bumped it up to 5,300 in the cutoff. Tomei called, while Carroll folded.

After Tomei's check, Sammartino fired a pot-sized bet of 11,900. Tomel check-folded after some thought, prompting Sammartino to show the A.

Tomei tabled the K in response, and the players shared a laugh as the pot was shipped to Sammartino.

Matthew Valeo limped in under the gun, thinking he was the big blind. Rob Hollink then raised to 1,600 in early position.

Leandro Pimentel in middle position, Luis Velador on the button, and Jason Riesenberg and Chase Crouch in the blinds all called, and the 343 flop after Valeo had called too.

The six players checked it through, and they did the same on the 3 turn. Hollink then bet 2,500. on the K river. The other 25 cards in play hit the muck as Hollink was shipped the pot without showdown.

The board 98JJ9. Atchison's aces held despite the sweaty runout, and he doubled up to eclipse the starting stack. Theuma, meanwhile, was left with just over 15 big blinds to try and spin up.
