Glendinning Wins on Fifth

Level 21

Stud Hi-Lo

Nikolai Fal: XxXx/4K8 ~ folded on fifth street
Jonathan Glendinning: XxXx/A52
Mark Rubbathan: XxXx/A9Q ~ folded on fifth street

Nikolai Fal brought in, and Jonathan Glendinning completed. Mark Rubbathan made it two bets to go, and both opponents called.

On fourth street, Glendinning bet out when checked to, and received two callers.

Action checked to him again on fifth, and he opted for another bet. Rubbathan frustratedly let his cards go, and Fal thought for a while before showing 76 in the hole and folding.

Violette Hero Calls with Deuces

Level 21

Stud Hi-Lo

Frederic Moss: XxXx / 7J - folded on fourth street
Todd Ivens: XxXx / 2679 / Xx
Cyndy Violette: XxXx / 5910Q / Xx

Action picked up on fourth as Moss checked to Ivens, who bet. Violette then raised, which forced out Moss, and Ivens called.

Violette then check-called on both fifth and sixth. She checked a final time on seventh to Ivens, who quickly bet. After a small tank, Violette tossed in calling chips.

Ivens revealed AQ8 in the hole for just ace-queen high, while Violette tabled 722 for a lone pair of twos, which were enough for the scoop.

No Sweat for Savage

Level 20

Stud Hi-Lo

Matt Savage: 73/4JJ4/5 All in
Ian Cohen: J7/A6QA/Q

Matt Savage was the bring in, and Ian Cohen sat to his left completed. Action folded to Savage, who moved all in for not much more, and Cohen called.

By fifth street, Savage had a commanding lead with his pair of jacks, and he improved to jacks up on sixth. There were ways for his opponent to be drawing dead, however, Cohen paired his ace to give him plenty of outs.

Seventh street was dealt face up, meaning Savage couldn't peel, and it was heartbreak as his opponent made a better two pair to send him home.

Action at Table 143

Level 20

Stud Hi-Lo

Tyler Phillips: XxXx / K1089 / Xx
Matthew Rosen: XxXx / K395 / Xx

Action picked up on fifth as Phillips check-called a bet from Rosen. Sixth street checked through before Phillips led seventh and Rosen quickly called. Phillips revealed 1099 in the hole for trip nines, which was the winner.

"I'm just a lucky guy," Phillips claimed as Rosen frustratingly folded, "I had a Royal Flush earlier and you missed it."

"Well, not exactly," replied tablemate Benjamin Gold.

Before Phillips had a chance to explain himself, Dekel Balas added to the conversation, "I have lost all of my chips. Haven't dragged a single pot."

The table is the next one to break, unfortunately.

Enright Pairs at the Wrong Time

Level 20

Omaha Hi-Lo

Sean Yu opened from middle position. Barbara Enright called on the button, and Patrick Gunn defended his big blind.

Action checked to Enright on the 64K flop, and her bet was called by both other opponents. The same happened on the 10 turn, with Enright moving all in for her final 38,000. Gunn then raised to 78,000, and Yu made the call.

Action went check-check on the 2 river, and Yu announced "chop" as he tabled AJ103 for the nut low. Gunn had A664 for a set, and Enright tabled AK52. Her low draw had been counterfeit, and the table wished the Hall of Famer well on her way out.

"We Meet Again"

Level 20

Omaha Hi-Lo

Justin Liberto raised from the cutoff and was called by Robert Klein in the small blind and Soheil Shamseddin in the big blind, who jokingly announced, "We meet again!" as he battles with Liberto again.

On the Q102 flop, it checked to Liberto, who bet, and both opponents called.

The same occurred on the Q turn as the three players saw the 5 river. Liberto bet again and both opponents quickly called.

Justin Liberto: AQ103
Robert Klein: A863

Both Liberto and Klein had the nut low, while Liberto's full house, queens full of tens, earned him three-quarters of the pot.
