Choi Secures Full Double

Level 20

Omaha Hi-Lo

William Delsanto opened from early position, and Kevin Choi made the call, sitting two to his left. Action then folded all the way around, and the two went off to a flop.

Delsanto continued with a bet on 6AK and Choi made the call. Delsanto bet again on the 2 turn, before Choi moved all in for 59,000. Delsanto put in the call.

Kevin Choi: AKJ5 All in
William Delsanto: AQ102

Delsanto's two pair was behind to the top two pair of Choi, and he was looking for a jack or a deuce to knock his opponent out. The 8 river was no help, and the Day 1 chip leader gave his stack to the dealer to be counted.

Le Unable to Best Fours

Level 19

Stud Hi-Lo

Allan Le: A9/K2Q4 All in
Robert Klein: 54/49K3
Joseph Hallock: XxXx/Q522 ~ folded on sixth street

Robert Klein brought in, and Allan Le completed. Joseph Hallock called, as did Klein, and the three went off to fourth street.

On both fourth and fifth street, Le bet out and was called by both opponents, the latter being an all in totalling 14,000.

On sixth, Hallock checked over to Klein, who placed in a bet. Hallock thought for a while before making the fold.

Klein showed his pair of fours, then tabled the 7 as his final card. Le had a sweat, but the 3 helped him none as he was sent to the rail.

Level 19 Eliminations

Level 19

No One Makes a Pair

Level 19

Omaha Hi-Lo

Philip Shing found himself all-in for his final 38,000 from the small blind, while Danny Chang from middle position, Jared Hyman on the button, and Jordan Siegel in the big blind all contributed 53,000 preflop.

The four saw a K53 flop in a bloated pot as the action checked to Hyman on the button who bet. Siegel called and Chang folded painfully.

Siegel check-called again on the 7 turn and the 3 river checked through on the side pot.

Philip Shing: QJ108 All in
Jordan Siegel: AJ62
Jared Hyman: AJ94

Somehow, ace-jack high was good for the high, as Shing just needed to pair any card to stay alive. Siegel and Hyman split the high with ace-jack, while Siegel's nut low earned him three-quarters of the pot.

Rahim Flushes to Double

Level 19

Stud Hi-Lo

Ziya Rahim: 27/3Q4J All in
Ilkka Heikkila: XxXx/2 ~folded on third street
Sean Yu: 108/A6QA
Barbara Enright: XxXx/210 ~folded on fourth street

Ilkka Heikkila brought in, and Sean Yu to his left completed. Both Barbara Enright and Ziya Rahim called, with Heikkila opting to release his cards.

On fourth street, Yu continued, and Rahim called following Enright's fold. He slowed down on fifth, and opted to check-call Rahim's bet.

On sixth street, Yu bet again when he paired his ace. Rahim moved all in for not much more, and Yu called.

Rahim had already hit the flush, as Yu peeled the 6 giving him an inconsequential two pair. Rahim flipped over the 9 as his last card for even more flush, as he got the full double.

Level 19

Stud Hi-Lo

Jonathan Nebbout: XxXx / 83K - folded on fifth street
Sachin Bhargava: XxXx / 64105 / Xx
Benjamin Gold: XxXx / A26Q / Xx

Action picked up on fourth as Gold bet showing the ace and both opponents called.

Gold led again on fifth, getting a fold from Nebbout and a call from Bhargava.

Gold then check-called on sixth, and he quickly check-called seventh as well. However, he got the bad news as Bhargava tabled J44 in the hole for three fours, which was good for the scoop as Gold mucked.

Action went check-check on seventh, and Hyman announced "two pair," tabling his hole cards.

On fourth street Rubbathan checked when bet to, and received two callers yet again. On fifth, he was checked to again. He bet, and this time both Devitis and Iijima let their cards go. Iijima showed A4 as he mucked, and Rubbathan let his table know he had eights in the hole.
