Shamseddin Rolled Up; Over One Million

Level 19

Stud Hi-Lo

Duke Viveros: A4 / 62104 / Xx All in
Soheil Shamseddin: 55 / 5J9A / Xx

Viveros completed, Shamseddin raised, and Viveros called.

On fourth, Shamseddin led before a raising war broke out, and the bets were capped at five.

Another bet went in from each on fifth and Viveros's final 22,000 was in the middle on sixth.

Shamseddin had rolled up fives and Viveros had a draw to a six low, but could not win the high. Shamseddin pulled a meaningless 7 on the end, and Viveros could not salvage half, revealing the A on seventh for a no-good two pair.

Klein's Two Pair is Best

Level 18

Stud Hi-Lo

Robert Klein: XxXx / A72K / Xx
Allan Le: XxXx / 448J / Xx

Action picked up on fourth as Le led with open fours and Klein called.

Le would continue to bet the whole way, with Klein calling down on fifth, sixth, and seventh.

After the final call, Le announced queens-up, but Klein quickly revealed AK10 in the hole for a better two pair, aces and kings. Le held a small hand funeral before he tossed his QxQx9x hole cards into the muck.

Donovan Bates: XxXx/8QQ2/Xx
Nicholas Blumenthal: XxXx/4396/Xx
Chris Wallace: XxXx/510A5 ~ folded on sixth street

Action was picked up on fourth street, with Nicholas Blumenthal opting to bet when checked to. Both Chris Wallace and Donovan Bates stuck in the call, before action checked through on fifth.

Bates checked for a third time on sixth street, and Blumenthal picked up the betting again, as he slid a chip forward. Wallace thought for a bit before folding, but Bates stuck around with a call.

On seventh street, Bates check-called another bet, and saw the bad news as his opponent tabled J72 for a flush and a low, which scooped.

So Many Chips for So Little Hand

Level 18

Omaha Hi-Lo

Duke Viveros limped in early position, Soheil Shamseddin raised on the button, Joseph Melancon called in the small blind, Blaz Zerjav called in the big blind, and Viveros came along as well.

On the K65 flop, it checked to Shamseddin who bet and all three opponents called.

Shamseddin bet again on the J turn. Melancon called, Zerjav folded, and Viveros called.

The 2 river then checked through.

Joseph Melancon: 7732
Duke Viveros: AK109
Soheil Shamseddin: A972

Viveros's lone pair of kings was enough to win the high, and Shamseddin's ace-seven was the winner for the low, and those two split a substantial pot.
