Shing Goes Runner-Runner to Bust Bambrick

Ryan Bambrick raised in middle postion, Philip Shing three-bet on the button, and Bambrick called.

On the K♦9♠6♦ flop, Bambrick got his final 17,000 into the middle, at risk against Shing.

Philip Shing: A♥10♣7♠2♥

Bambrick was in good shape to double, as the 2♠ turn added outs for Shing. The A♦ peeled off on the river, giving Shing two pair, aces and deuces, to scoop and eliminated Bambrick four from the money.

Stanislav Ivanov raised under the gun, and action folded all the way round to big blind Jesse Lonis. He had only 5,000 in his stack, and was forced all in.

Lonis wasn't too happy seeing trips in his hand, but managed to hit the case six to give him middle set on the 6♥K♦5♦ flop. As if that wasn't enough, he drilled the nut flush on the 9♦ turn, and faded the chop by filling up on the 5♠ river.

Imsirovic then led out on fourth street, and Zhu called.

She then slowed down, and check-called bets from Zhu from fifth through to seventh. Zhu showed his cards in the hole, amounting to a pair of aces. Imsirovic showed that her pair of kings had been pipped.

Lord completed left of the the bring-in, Lonis called, and Ivanov defended his bring-in.

On fourth, it checked to Lonis who bet. Ivanov folded and Lord called.

Lonis bet again on fifth and he bet all-in on sixth, sending Lord into a small tank.

"You're probably drawing dead already," Lonis added as his opponent contemplated his decision, but eventually called.

Lonis had a pair of fives and an eight-seven low draw, while Lord had a made eight-six low. Lonis peeled the A♦ on seventh, which changed nothing, while Lord got the 3♠, and the pot was chopped.

"Probably had a few more outs than you were expecting," Lonis joked as the dealer split up the chips.

Yegor Tsurikov brought in, and David Lin called. Fumihiro Yasoshima then completed, and both players paid to see fourth.

On fourth street, Tsurikov bet when checked to, and both of his opponents put in the call.

On fifth street, it was Yasoshima who received two calls after betting when checked to.

On sixth, Tsurikov took the lead and moved all in for his final 2,000. Lin put out a full bet, and Yasoshima thought for quite some time before putting in the call. Lin bet out again on seventh, and Yasoshima slammed his cards into the muck.

Tsurikov tabled 5♣5♦2♣ for three of a kind, but it was no good as Lin turned A♥6♠2♠ over for a ten high straight as well as a qualifying low. Tsurikov left the tournament area.

The river was the 2♣ as Rahim opted to lead. Phillips put in a raise, Rahim made it three bets, and Phillips called.

Both players held the nut low, but Rahim had top boat, and he collected three-quarters of the pot.
