Prado Takes From Chang

Level 5 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Heads-up to the turn on a board of QJK3 between Lawrence Chang in the big blind and Affif Prado under the gun.

Chang checked it over to Prado, who placed out a bet of 15,000. Chang continued with a call.

The 7 landed on the river, and both players checked.

Chang tabled QJ43 for two pair, but it was second best to Prado's KQ1010 for a higher two pair.

Simao Left Short

Level 5 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Seeing a raise ahead of him from Zachary Grech in middle position, Joao Simao three-bet to 13,800 from the small blind. Once the big blind was out of the way, Grech called.

Simao continued for 15,200 on the AJ2 flop, and Grech called again before the Q turn checked through.

Simao checked again on the 10 river, but this time Grech opted to bet the pot, putting 60,200 into the middle. Simao wasted little time calling, but it was bad news, as Grech flipped over AK75 for a flush.

Guerra's Back in the Game

On a flop of 8KA and with around 55,000 in the middle, Lautaro Guerra got his stack of 51,500 into the middle from the big blind, with Lior Abudi looking to win them all from early position.

Guerra was ahead with top pair and the higher flush draw, and after the rest of the board ran out 59, he secured the much-needed double-up.

Nagy Applies Pressure

Level 5 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With 13,200 in the pot, and a K23 flop on the felt, the action had checked to Jonathan Poche on the button, who bet 6,000. Travis Pearson folded in the small blind, but Gergo Nagy check-raised to 19,000 from the big blind, which Poche called.

The 9 turn saw Nagy continue for 38,000, which was enough to see Poche cede, and he returned his cards to the dealer.

Benyamine Rivers a Straight

Daniel Geeng in the cutoff opened to 3,000. He was called by David Benyamine on the button and by both players in the blinds.

All four of them checked the A104 flop and the 6 turn. The blinds checked the 8 river as well but Benyamine bet 11,000.

Geeng called while the other two players folded and Benyamine flipped over JJ97. Geeng sent his cards into the muck.

With Pavel Plesuv all in from the button, Najeem Ajez checked from the small blind on the AQJ flop, and Josh Arieh knuckled it back from the big blind.

The A arrived on the turn, and Ajez bet, forcing a quick fold from Arieh. Ajez claimed the side pot, and the cards were tabled with Plesuv at risk.

Kirsch Takes the Family Pot

In one of the first hands back from the break, Alexander Condon limped from middle position and saw five players call beind. Levon Khachatryan was in the hijack, Allen Shen in the cutoff, Michael Amato on the button, Caleb Furth in the small blind and Richard Kirsch in the big blind.

The six players were dealt the 7KJ flop and action folded around to Condon who bet 4,200. Only Shen and Kirsch called, and the players continued three-ways to the 5 turn.

Action was checked to the 2 river and Condon bet 13,000. Only Kirsch found a call and tabled his K752 hand holding two pair and Condon mucked.

Brannan Bides His Time

Lior Abudi raised to 4,000 from under the gun, which Frank Brannan called in middle position and Firas Kashat called from the hijack, tempting in Andy Chang in the big blind.

Abudi continued for 6,000 on the A102 flop, which Brannan called before the other two players folded.

The 7 turn saw Abudi bet again, this time for 20,000. Undeterred, Brannan called again.

Abudi fired one final bullet of 30,000 on the 2 river, but when Brannan moved all in for around 110,000, Abudi folded.
