Schindler Smacks the Flop to Double

Level 9 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Affif Prado raised to 10,000 in the hijack and Gergo Nagy called in the small blind. Maximilian Schindler then reraised to 42,000 in the big blind, and both opponents called.

Schindler then moved all in for 58,000 on the A710 flop and Prado called, while Gergo got out of the way.

Maximilian Schindler: AA55 All in
Affif Prado: 9865

"Classic. Classic race," tablemate Samuel Del Castillo Guerra said as Schindler showed down top set against Prado's straight draw. The turn was the 3, while the 7 river improved Schindler to a full house and secured his double up.

Barakat Shows Weisman the Nuts

Level 9 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Youness Barakat
Youness Barakat

With around 65,000 in the pot on a completed board of 5K74A, Youness Barakat bet 24,000 from middle position and was met by a raise to 115,000 from Dylan Weisman on the button.

Barakat deliberated briefly before making it 300,000 to go.

Weisman let out a sigh, looked back at his cards, thought for a while, and then flicked in a chip to call.

It was bad news for Weisman as Barakat tabled the unbeatable 10986 for the nut straight to claim the pot and slash Weisman's stack down to around 200,000.

Chang Calls Down Do on the River

Level 9 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Four players went to a flop of 995 where Anh Do bet 18,000 from middle position. Only Lawrence Chang called in the cutoff.

Both players checked the 10 turn. Do then bet 75,000 on the 10 river, and Chang took a minute before calling.

Do showed AQJ9 for trips, but Chang had KJJ8 for a flush to win the pot.

Level 9 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Maximilian Schindler

Cary Katz raised to 10,000 from early position with Thomas Zanot calling from the next seat. Maximilian Schindler then squeezed to 45,000 from the hijack, leaving himself just 20,000 behind. Both Katz and Zanot called.

Three players saw the 5109 flop, which checked through to the K turn. Katz bet 36,000, forcing Zanot to fold, while Schindler called off his last few chips to put himself at risk.

Maximilian Schindler: AK87 All in
Cary Katz: QJJ6

Katz had the nut straight, and Schindler was drawing dead with just one pair.

The irrelevant 4 completed the board, and Schindler became the next casualty of the PLO High Roller.

"You Look Like a Professional, But Your Bet is Terrible."

Level 9 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Anatoly Zlotnikov
Anatoly Zlotnikov

Brevin Andreadis raised to 11,000 with Anatoly Zlotnikov calling on the button, Joshua Ladines calling from the small blind, and Gabriel Andrade coming along from the big blind.

After two checks on the A8Q flop, Andreadis bet 12,000 into his three opponents. Zlotnikov called before Ladines check-raised to 40,000. Andrade and Andreadis folded, and Zlotnikov shoved, covering Ladines. Ladines called for his remaining 150,000 or so, and the cards were tabled.

Joshua Ladines: J1088 All in
Anatoly Zlotnikov: QQ22

It was a brutal set-over-set cooler, with Ladines finding himself on the wrong end of it. He wasn't drawing dead, though, as a straight remained a possibility with two cards to come.

The 7 turn gave Ladines even more hope by adding a flush draw to his outs. When the 7 landed on the river, he improved to a full house. However, Zlotnikov's full house was bigger, and the large pot was pushed his way.

As he dragged in the chips, Zlotnikov jokingly looked over to Andreadis and said, "You look like a professional, but your bet is terrible."
