Gruneberg Bests Mokhammad

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Kamel Mokhammad opened to 300,000 from under the gun. He was called by Zachary Gruneberg on the button and Erick Mossinger in the big blind.

It checked to Gruneberg on the JK7 flop before he bet 650,000 in response. Mossinger folded, but Mokhammad made the call.

Both players checked through the J turn and 4 river.

Gruneberg showed AK1082 for top pair top kicker, which was good enough as he took down the pot.

Erick Mossinger potted to 550,000 from middle position, and Ravi Shankar called out of the small blind. He check-shoved the Q107 flop following a pot-sized wager from Mossinger, and the Brazilian snapped to put his opponent at risk.

Erick Mossinger: AQJ54

Shankar had flopped a wrap, but Mossinger was in the lead with top pair and a diamond draw to boot. The 3 turn changed nothing, and Mossinger made queens up on the 10 river to send his opponent home.

Mokhammad Gets Some Back

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Zachary Gruneberg raised to 500,000 from the hijack and was called by Kamel Mokhammad in the big blind.

Both players checked the 763 flop to bring the 3 turn.

Mokhammad bet 875,000 and was called by Gruneberg.

The Q river did not slow Mokhammad down as he opted to fire 2,650,000.

Gruneberg vocalized that he was suspicious it was a bluff, but ultimately decided to fold to award the pot to Gruneberg.

Kamel Mokhammad opened to 400,000 from the hijack. Zachary Gruneberg called on the button before Hokyiu Lee joined from the big blind.

The 74J flop led to a pair of checks from Lee and Mokhammad before Gruneberg bet 650,000. Lee folded, but Mokhammad called.

Jacks Enough for Gruneberg

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Hokyiu Lee limped in under the gun, and Zachary Gruneberg called from the small blind. Ravi Shankar checked his option in the big, and the three went off to a flop of 95K

Gruneberg made it 300,000 to go, and both of his opponents made the call. The price of poker went up as he put 700,000 into the middle on the 8 turn, this time receiving a call from Shankar only.

The 9 hit the river, and action went check-check. "Jacks," announced Gruneberg, seemingly ready to accept defeat, but much to his rail's delight, Shankar let go of his cards upon seeing Gruneberg's JJ1086

Gianluca Cedolia

Gianluca Cedolia opened to 420,000 from under the gun before Kamel Mokhammad defended his big blind.

The flop came 7KJ before Mokhammad bet 1,020,000. Cedolia went all-in for 1,780,000 and was called by Mokhammad to be at risk.

Kamel Mokhammad: KK952

Cedolia was behind the set of kings, but still had some outs to improve with a gutshot to a straight and his overpair.

The Q turn was just what he needed as he hit his straight, but Cedolia was not out of the woods yet, as Mokhammad could still improve.

The 3 river was of no consequence as Cedolia doubled up.
