Roy Thung

Seven Card Stud

Albert Daher: 1010Xx/7A210
Roy Thung: AKK/K89J

Albert Daher and Roy Thung both checked fifth street. Daher checked again on sixth street, prompting Thung to bet. Daher then raised, and Thung called.

Daher tossed in another bet on seventh street. It was Thung who raised this time, and Daher tossed in a quick albeit reluctant call.

Thung showed three kings, besting the three tens of Daher to rake in the chips.

"Damn, you're destroying this table, Roy," chipleader Matt Glantz said to Thung once the hand had concluded.

Chino Rheem opened his button to 8,000. Michael Mizrachi made it 22,000 to go in the small blind, which Rheem called after some thought.

Mizrachi continued for 15,000 on the Q79 flop, to which Rheem check-folded 8x8x. Mizrachi then tabled A2, laughing as he dragged the pot.

On the next deal, Mizrachi raised to 7,500 in the cutoff. Big blind Renan Bruschi defended and check-called Mizrachi's continuation-bet of 7,000 on the Q4J flop. The 5 turn then checked through to the 3 river, where Bruschi piled in an overbet of 39,000.

Mizrachi raised to 100,000, receiving a quick call from Bruschi. Mizrachi was reluctant to show as he announced one pair, prompting Bruschi to table 43 for the winning hand.

No-Limit Hold'em

Calvin Anderson opened to 6,000 under the gun before Paul Volpe three-bet to 20,000 in the cutoff. With the action back on Anderson, he four-bet to 47,000, and Volpe called, with both players starting the hand over 90 blinds deep.

On the 852 flop, Anderson led for 32,000 and Volpe called.

The turn was the 6 as Anderson fired again for 54,000, and Volpe called once more after a minute's tank.

On the 6 river, Anderson led for just 14,000. Volpe weighed his options before he tossed in calling chips.

Calvin Anderson had QJ, while Paul Volpe flipped over AK.

Volpe's ace-high was best to drag a huge pot off Anderson.

During the hand, Ben Yu took his seat at the same table after registering.

Action picked up after the draw in a limped blind-on-blind battle between Chance Kornuth in the small blind and Benny Glaser in the big blind.

Kornuth led with an overbet of 16,500 into 10,500. Glaser had his suspicions but he eventually decided to fold, much to the delight of Kornuth. With a wry smile, he picked up he cards and turned over 333 for the bluff.

Tablemate David "ODB" Baker did not seem so impressed by the play as he commented, "We're playing for our lives here and you're f**king showing bluffs."

Nick Guagenti added, "These no-limit guys, man..." as Kornuth stacked his chips with a grin.
