Peter Ng opened to 16,000 from middle position and called a three-bet bet of 45,000 from Peter Ng, who was on the button.
Both players checked on the Q♦5♣3♥ flop and then Vitantonio check-called a 15,000 bet from Ng on the J♠ turn.
Vitantonio moved all in on the 8♦ river and Ng quickly called all in for a bit under 200,000 total.
Vitantonio showed 10♦9♦ for the nuts and Ng showed he held Q♣Q♥ for top set before wishing his tablemates good luck and exiting the tournament area.
Michael Gathy checked the Q♥8♥4♦ flop from the small blind, and called when Martin Zamani fired 20,000 into the middle from the big blind.
Another check from Gathy followed the 3♥ turn, and Zamani tossed out a bet of 35,000. That produced a fold from Gathy, and Zamani added chips to his stack.
Andrew Hoechstetter limped from under the gun and Rishi Mehra raised to 35,000 on the button. Action folded back to Hoechstetter, who moved all in for approximately 200,000. Mehra called all in for a bit less and a showdown was held.
Rishi Mehra: A♦K♦
Andrew Hoechstetter: 10♥10♦
It was another race, but this one favored Hoechstetter as the 8♣4♥10♠7♥3♦ runout improved him to a set to eliminate Mehra early on in Day 2.
Robbi Jade Lew moved all in for 56,000 in middle position, and was at risk when John Bunch announced a call in the cutoff.
Robbi Jade Lew: K♣J♦
John Bunch: 8♥8♦
Lew found trip jacks on the J♥Q♠J♠6♥2♠ runout, winning the flip to double through Bunch.
Seiki Horita made it 16,000 to play from early position and action folded to Bogar Valdez Quezada in middle position who three-bet all in for 67,000. Action came back around to Horita who thought for a while and made the call.
Bogar Valdez Quezada: A♠A♦
Seiki Horita: 6♠6♥
Not the door card Quezada wanted to see on the 6♣2♠Q♥ flop and he needed to hit an ace to stay alive. No luck on the 2♦ turn nor the 7♥ river and Quezada was sent to the rail in a brutal fashion.
Ryan Julius checked the 5♦3♥6♠ flop from the big blind, and Antoine Labat fired a bet of 13,000 on the button. Julius called to the K♣ turn, where both players checked.
Another pair of checks followed the 7♠ river, and Julius turned over 6♥2♥ for a pair of sixes. That was good enough to claim the pot, as Labat mucked his hand.
Action folded around to the blinds, where Day 1 chip leader Shawn Puri raised to 22,000 from the small blind. Joseph Sergio took about a minute from the big blind before sticking in a call.
Both players checked on the A♦A♠A♥ flop and then Puri led out for 18,000 on the 10♥ turn.
Sergio shook his head and laid his hand down — conceding the pot to Puri.
