Boat For Duek

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action went three-ways to a flop of J47 in a hand between Nicholas Baris in middle position, Sascha Wilhelm in the small blind, and Michael Duek in the big blind.

It checked to Duek, who bet 4,000 and only Baris called to see the 10 turn. Duek bet 13,000 and Baris called, bringing the 7 river.

Duek slowed down with a check and Baris elected to check back. Duek showed 44XxXx for a full house, fours full of sevens, and Baris mucked.

Liu Leaves Pockett With Crumbs

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Sasha Liu opened to 4,500 from early position and called a three-bet of 16,500 from Benjamin Pockett, who was in the hijack.

Liu check-called a 10,000 bet from Pockett on the 773 flop and then both players checked on the 8 turn.

The 8 river double-paired the board and Liu quickly put a bet of 45,000 into the middle.

Pockett grimaced a little and thought his decision over before deciding to look up Liu, who turned over AQJ7 for trip sevens.

Pocket sent his cards into the muck and was left with just 10,000 following the hand.

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Maxi Lehmanski raised to 6,000 in middle position, and only Christopher Ewing called in the big blind.

The action checked through on the 856 flop, prompting Ewing to take over the betting on the 5 turn. He put 4,000 into the middle, and Lehmanski called.

The 7 completed the board, and Ewing bet again. This time, his 15,000 went uncalled, as Lehmanski returned his cards to the dealer.

In the last hand of the previous level, Tsz Shing limped in from middle position, and Kai Yang did the same in the small blind. Michael Mizrachi then raised to 6,000 in the big blind. Shing then limp-raised to 19,500, before Yang responded by potting it, raising to 64,500, which Mizrachi called. Shing then called too, putting his full 51,000 stack in the middle.

The dealer dealt a 458 flop, and Yang moved all in for roughly 55,000, which Mizrachi snap-called.

Tsz Shing: KKQ9 All in
Kai Yang: AAJ5 All in
Michael Mizrachi: KQJ9

The J landed on the turn, keeping Yang in the lead, but the 10 river improved Mizrachi to a flush, seeing him eliminate two players, and claim the tournament chip lead whilst doing so.

Two Pair Good for Loomis

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

David Strickland raised to 3,000 in middle position and received three callers behind to see the A610 flop.

It checked to Strickland, who bet 7,500, and was called by Andrew Loomis in the cutoff and Andrew Pham in the big blind.

The trio went to the 9 turn where action slowed down with checks all around. On the 8 river, Strickland bet 7,500 and Loomis thought for a moment before making the call. Pham got out of the way.

Loomis tabled AJ108 for two pair, aces and tens, besting the AK32 of Strickland.
