Wantman Triples, Hahn Takes a Massive Side Pot Off Liu

Michael Hahn raised to 18,000 in middle position and Sasha Liu called in the hijack, as did Igor Ioffe in the cutoff. Matthew Wantman then reraised to 31,000 in the big blind, leaving 2,000 behind, and Hahn reraised to 132,000. Liu called, Ioffe got out of the way, while Wantman put in his last chips.

The flop came J86 and Hahn moved all in for 284,000. Liu snap-called.

Wantman had flopped two pair to take the lead in the main pot, while Hahn's aces had him poised to take the massive side pot against Liu's queens and straight draw. The turn was the 3, and Hahn held up on the 2 river.

"Let's go! I finally win one," Wantman said as he tripled up, while Hahn doubled in the side pot.
