Zhu Smacks the River to Bust Racener

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

John Racener bet from under the gun on a board of KK105 and Yueqi Zhu called in the big blind.

The river was the J and Racener bet again. Zhu then raised, and Racener called off his last chips.

Racener showed AKQ6 for a straight, but Zhu had rivered a full house with AJJ10 to win the pot and send Racener to the rail.

Vitch Bests Rast Again

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Christopher Vitch raised his button, and Brian Rast defended in the big blind. Rast check-called Vitch's bet on the 6JJ flop, after which the K turn was checked by both players.

Rast led out on the 8 river, and he declared "nine-eight" once Vitch had called.

"No good," replied Vitch as he tabled A10104 for a pair of tens to take the pot.

Moncek Starts Off Strong

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Philip Sternheimer limped in from the small blind, Michael Moncek raised in the big blind, and Sternheimer called.

The flop came J64 and Moncek bet. Sternheimer called that bet, and another on the A turn.

Moncek bet again on the 10 river, and Sternheimer called once more. Moncek then showed A442 for a set, and Sternheimer mucked.

"He just registered and already has more chips than me," tablemate Mike Matusow lamented.

The Hippo vs. The Rock

Level 11 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

"Now I know why I'm playing so bad," Martin Kabrhel said as he took his hippo out of his pocket and put it on top of his chips.

"Time to fight fire with fire," Steve Zolotow countered, taking out his lucky rock for a chip protector. Zolotow then raised on the button, Kabrhel three-bet in the big blind, and Zolotow called.

"Heads-up against one of the legends of the game," Kabrhel shouted out as the flop came K8A. He then bet, and Zolotow called.

The turn was the A and Kabrhel bet again. Zolotow called, and the 5 fell on the river.

"All in the bracelet!" Kabrhel shouted, but the dealer told him he could only bet 8,000. Zolotow called with J1032 for a low, while Kabrhel had AQ92 for trips to chop the pot.

"Admit to the camera that you were outplayed by someone who doesn't know the game. Admit it," Kabrhel teased Zolotow after the hand.

Anderson Ireland raised under the gun. Rob Hollink called in the hijack, and Nicolas Milgrom and Yehuda Buchalter did so in the blinds.

The 587 flop checked to Hollink, who bet. Milgrom and Buchalter both called before Ireland mucked his hand. Milgrom then led out on the J turn, folding out Buchalter. Hollink called, and the dealer placed the J on the river.

Milgrom tossed in another bet, but Hollink raised this time. Milgrom quickly called, but he received no part of the pot as Hollink's AQJ2 scooped the pot.
