Wang Gets Half to Survive as Pan Bets Out Brunson

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Todd Brunson raised in the hijack, Joshua Wang three-bet in the cutoff, and Qinghai Pan tossed in a fourth bet on the button. Brunson and Wang quickly called to the KQA flop, which checked to Pan.

He bet, Brunson called, and Wang called all in for his last 1,000. Pan kept firing on the 2 turn, seeing Brunson check-call. A final bet by Pan then flew in on the 5 river, but Brunson check-folded this time after some thought.

Pan received the side pot as he opened AK72 for two pair, aces and kings. Wang had made a low with his A964, and was awarded half of the main pot to stay alive.

Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel raised in the cutoff, Thomas Taylor three-bet from the small blind, and Kabrhel called all in for his last 15,000.

Martin Kabrhel: QJ54 All in
Thomas Taylor: KKJ9

"He doesn't have low! This guy doesn't know how to play!" Kabrhel yelled loud enough for the entire tournament area to notice.

He then flopped two pair on 7Q4 to take the lead.

"One more queen and I will dance on the table, naked probably," an elated Kabrhel said.

Taylor slammed the K turn, however, spiking top set to leave Kabrhel drawing dead. The A river was rendered meaningless as Kabrhel vowed to never play fixed-limit Omaha hi-lo ever again and quickly fled the Paris ballroom.

Yoon Cracks Taylor's Aces in Style

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Esther Taylor had a song blaring from her phone as she raised under the gun. "I have to raise because this song is on," she said. Only Brian Yoon called in the big blind.

Both players checked the 101010 flop. Yoon then led out with bets on the 8 turn and 8 river, and Taylor called him down.

Yoon turned over 10995 for flopped quads. "And they wonder why they can never bust me," Taylor said as she flashed AA before mucking.

"I got hoes," Taylor added.

"You got hosed, alright," tablemate Terrance Reid replied.

Kabrhel Gets Quartered

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Martin Kabrhel raised under the gun, and Steve Zolotow called in the small blind. Maksim Pisarenko then three-bet in the big blind, prompting Kabrhel to move all in for 16,000.

Zolotow and Pisarenko called in quick succession, after which Zolotow led out with a bet on the 842 flop. Pisarenko raised, Zolotow called, and the same betting sequence occurred on the 7 turn.

Finally, Zolotow check-called Pisarenko's bet on the K river to force a showdown.

Zolotow and Pisarenko chopped the main pot as they tabled 6355 and A732 for the high part and low part of the pot, respectively, and Kabrhel received a quarter of the main pot as he had also made the nut low with AK103
