Clements Leads Into Hellmuth

Scott Clements opened under the gun, getting Phil Hellmuth in middle position and Jiayi Yao in the big blind along to the 1028 flop.

Yao checked, Clements bet, and Hellmuth called before Yao folded. Clements then slowed down on the 2 turn, checking it over to Hellmuth. Hellmuth bet, seeing Clements toss in calling chips.

The 8 river then saw Clements retake the initiative with a bet. Hellmuth quickly called, but he could not beat the AAJ8 of Clements and mucked his cards.

"I'm going to have to raise blind now," Pisarenko added. Andrey Zhigalov opened from the cutoff and Pisarenko three-bet in the small blind. Zhigalov called.

Pisarenko checked the Q34 flop and Zhigalov bet. Pisarenko called and checked again on the 9 turn, and Zhigalov then bet. Pisarenko folded this time.

The next hand, Zhigalov again raised in the hijack, Pisarenko three-bet on the button, and Zhigalov called.

"You won the last one. I'll win this one," Pisarenko told him as the flop came A26. He then bet, Zhigalov raised, and Pisarenko reraised. Zhigalov called.

Both players checked the K turn. Pisarenko then bet on the 9 river, and Zhigalov called.

Pisarenko showed A984 for two pair and a low, and Zhigalov mucked.
