Obst then bet, and Schreiber called. The river was the 6♦ and Obst bet again. Schreiber called once more, and Obst showed A♥K♦9♥4♥ for two pair to win the pot.
On the button, Chino Rheem committed his last chips on the 6♥Q♦9♥10♣ turn, being all in for 84,000 in total. Josh Arieh looked him up in the big blind, and the cards were tabled.
Chino Rheem: A♥Q♠8♥4♠
Josh Arieh: K♣9♠5♦3♣
Rheem's top pair was in the lead, but Arieh rivered two pair on the K♠ to send Rheem packing.
Ryan Bambrick raised his button, and James Chen called in the small blind. Chen check-called Bambrick's bets on the Q♦2♥K♦ flop and 5♠ turn before leading out on the 3♠ river.
Bambrick quickly called, but Chen showed nut-nut with A♠9♦6♥4♦ to scoop the pot and chip back up.
"That's what I like doing, just sitting here with you guys folding my life away. I've been doing this shit for 27 years, just to sit here and fold all day," Chino Rheem said as Ryan Bambrick and James Chen went heads-up in a blind versus blind battle.
Chen bet on a board of 7♥Q♦A♦9♠ and Bambrick called. The river was the 10♣ and Chen bet again. Bambrick called, and Chen showed A♣Q♣6♣2♠ for two pair to win the pot.
Three-handed on a flop of A♠3♠K♣, Phil Hellmuth led out with a bet from the small blind and Matthew Beinner folded in the big blind, while Scott Clements called on the button.
Hellmuth checked the 9♦ turn, and Clements bet. Hellmuth called, and the A♦ fell on the river.
Clements then bet again. "Come on," Hellmuth said in frustration as he quickly flung his cards into the muck.
Phil Hellmuth raised under the gun, Brian Yoon called all-in in the hijack for his last 7,000, and Scott Clements defended his big blind. Hellmuth then bet the 8♣9♠8♥ flop, seeing Clements fold to force a showdown.
Brian Yoon: A♦Q♣6♠3♠
Phil Hellmuth: A♣Q♥9♦3♥
Hellmuth turned trips on the 9♣ to lock up the pot, rendering the 4♥ river meaningless. Yoon was the last person to leave the field empty-handed, as the 31 remaining players were guaranteed to be in the money.
Mack Lee had gotten all his chips in preflop from the small blind, and Ashish Gupta in middle position and David Lin in the hijack had created a small side pot.
The 6♣Q♦4♠A♣7♦ board was then checked through to showdown. Gupta tabled A♠8♦6♥2♥ for a seven-low and two pair. Lin had the same low with A♦K♦8♣2♦, but had a lesser high hand, and thus got quartered.
Lee received no part of the pot with 10♦9♦5♦4♥, and he consequently said his goodbyes and left the tournament area.
The Omaha Hi-Lo Championship was left with 32 players, meaning the tournament would progress hand for hand until the bursting of the bubble.
James Chen bet from the hijack on a flop of 9♠A♣2♦ and Josh Arieh called in the small blind, as did Christopher Vitch in the big blind.
Arieh led out with a bet on the 5♠ turn, and only Chen called. Arieh then bet on the 8♥ river, and Chen called once more.
"I got it," Arieh said, showing 7♣4♠3♣2♠ for a wheel to win the pot.
Todd Brunson raised in the cutoff, Qinghai Pan moved in his last 33,000 in the small blind, and Philip Long called in the big blind. Brunson tossed in 3,000 more for a call as well, after which he and Long checked through the J♦8♥K♥5♥Q♥ board.
Long could show just ace-high with A♣7♣4♦2♠, while Brunson had rivered a pair of queens with A♠Q♦6♥3♠. Pan's 10♦6♠3♥3♦ was not enough to survive, and he busted just a few places shy of making the money.
