Igor Sharaskin Eliminated

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Igor Sharaskin earlier this summer
Igor Sharaskin earlier this summer

With 9,000 chips already in the middle on a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, Igor Sharaskin checked from the big blind and Toby Lewis bet the pot from under the gun. Sharaskin check-raised all in and Lewis called to put him at risk.

Igor Sharaskin: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Toby Lewis: {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Sharaskin had the lead with top two pair, but Lewis had numerous straight and flush outs. The {K-Clubs} on the turn gave Lewis some additional outs but kept Sharaskin in the lead, but the {9-Clubs} river gave Lewis a king-high straight to take the pot and send Sharaskin to the rail.

Tong Takes One

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Alan Reyf raised to 6,000 from the button and Kristopher Tong called in the small blind, as did David Callaghan in the big blind. On the {J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop, Tong bet 10,300 and Callaghan called while Reyf folded. The {4-Clubs} turn paired the board and both players checked before Tong bet the {K-Clubs} river for 16,000.

Callaghan let go and Tong claimed the pot. "I know you had a big hand, because you raised to 6,000 and not 4,500 this time," Tong said to Reyf.

Ramos Busts O'Donoghue

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Among the next to fall were short stacks John O'Shea and Benjamin Pollak, and Liam O'Donoghue has also been eliminated.

Regarding the latter bust, Felipe Ramos had a far bigger stack on O'Donoghue's former table and provided the details. According to Ramos, it all went in a flop of {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, O'Donoghue got it in with a naked pair of aces but Ramos had flopped the nut straight with {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}, and the better hand held.

Paul Leckey Triples

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

With about 45,000 chips already in the middle and the board reading {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs}, Paul Leckey shoved from the hijack for 31,600, Micah Smith reshoved from the cutoff, and Kurt Fruchtman called from the button to put both players at risk.

Leckey had {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Smith {Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, meaning Leckey had top set, and while Smith had a wrap, Leckey's open-ended straight draw meant that some of Smith's outs would result in a chop. Meanwhile Fruchtman's hand was missed in the rapid action, though he was well behind Leckey, too.

The {5-Hearts} turn gave Leckey the nut boat and left both of his opponents in even worse shape, and the {Q-Hearts} river meant Leckey tripled while Smith won the side pot against Fruchtman.

Mosely Dominique Sends One Home

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Mosley Dominique raised to 5,000 from middle position and Grazvydas Kontautas three-bet to 20,000 from the cutoff. Dominique called and the two players saw a flop of {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Dominique checked, Kontautas bet 25,000, and after briefly going into the tank, Dominique made a pot-sized check-raise. Kontautas quickly came over the top and all the chips were in the middle in a hurry.

Grazvydas Kontautas: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Mosley Dominique: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Dominique had the advantage with his two pair, but Kontautas could hit an ace or spade to take the lead. The {7-Clubs} on the turn extended Dominique's lead by giving him sevens full of kings, and the {5-Hearts} on the river meant the pot was his.

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

With a substantial pot of about 80,000 already brewing and the board reading {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, Michail Carapanos and Hani Mio got all the chips in the middle with Karapanos at risk.

Michail Karapanos: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Hani Mio: {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

Karapanos had the best of it with his pair of aces and improved to trips on the {A-Clubs} river to secure the double-up.
