Krasienko Takes One from Park

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Mike Krasienko raised to 25,000 under the gun, James Park called in middle position, and the big blind called.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, and the big blind checked. Krasienko bet 40,000, Park called, and the big blind folded. The {Q-Diamonds} came on the turn, and Krasienko checked. Park potted for 160,000, and Krasienko called. On the {2-Clubs} river, Krasienko checked, and Park thought for a little while and then checked back.

Krasienko tabled {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for a queen-high flush, good for the pot.

O'Shea Eliminated by Kakon

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

William Kakon raised to 26,000, and both James Calderaro and Dario Sammartino called. John O'Shea raised the pot to 145,000, and Kakon asked for his remaining stack, which was another 171,000 behind. Kakon then moved all in, and that forced Calderaro and Sammartino out.

"I call," O'Shea said and immediately asked, "You got aces?" Kakon nodded.

John O'Shea: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}
William Kakon: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

While Kakon was way ahead, the {4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} flop gave O'Shea a flush draw. After the {2-Clubs} turn, Kakon demanded, "Pair the board," and while his wish wasn't granted, he was also quite happy about the {7-Hearts}. O'Shea was covered by six big blinds and joined the rail, while Kakon scored a vital double.

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Max Silver
Max Silver

The action was folded to Veselin Karakitukov, on the button, who raised to 27,000. Max Silver three-bet to 86,000 from the big blind, and Karakitukov four-bet to 263,000. Silver called.

The flop was {k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Silver shoved all in, having his opponent covered, and Karakitukov quickly called for his remaining 350,000.

Silver tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for two pair, and Karakitukov showed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds}, and the river bricked out for Karakitukov, as well. Silver stacked up a massive pot, moving over 1,500,000 and up to the top of the leaderboard.

Griffin Triples Up

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

The cards of Andrei Razov were already in the muck while the board showed {J-Spades}{7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Ashton Griffin's stack was counted down, as he had just tripled up with {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for a flush, received 169,000 chips times three.

However, Iraj Parvizi was also still in the mix, and his {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts} had cracked the pocket aces of Razov after turning a straight. Parvizi himself doubled through Razov for 472,000 after having paid off Griffin, and that left the Russian very short in chips.

Collado Busts to Rybin

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

A raising war resulted in the all in of Jan Collado, and he was looked up by Alexey Rybin on the {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop.

Jan Collado: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Alexey Rybin: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{8-Spades}

While Collado hit a set of kings, Rybin had flush and straight draws. The blank {9-Hearts} turn changed nothing just yet, but Rybin got there with the {7-Clubs} on the river to eliminate Collado.

Song Folds to Parvizi

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Michael Song raised to 30,000, and Iraj Parvizi three-bet to 75,000 from the cutoff. Song called. On the {J-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, Song checked, and Parvizi took down the pot with a bet of 100,000.

Soon after, Parvizi made it 30,000 to go, and John Beauprez called in the big blind. On a {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, both players checked. The {6-Diamonds} fell on the turn, and Beauprez bet 35,000 to force a fold from Parvizi.

Krasienko Doubles Through Mercier

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Michael Krasienko and Jason Mercier got all of their chips into the middle with Krasienko holding {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}, and Mercier tabled {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. The board ran out {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}, and Krasienko made a bigger flush to double through Mercier. Mercier was left with just 28,000.

In the next hand, Mercier moved all in from the small blind and was called by Ben Tollerene, in the big blind, and the player under the gun, who had limped preflop. The flop came {j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, and both players checked to the {7-Diamonds} on the turn. Tollerene bet 43,000, and his opponent folded.

Mercier had a big hand with {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-}, but Tollerene turned the nuts with {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}. The river was the {k-Spades}, giving no help to Mercier, and he was eliminated.

Iraj Parvizi opened the action to 35,000 in early position and was called by Max Silver, in middle position, and Ashton Griffin, in the small blind. The flop came {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, and Griffin checked. Parvizi bet 75,000, and Silver moved all in for 311,000. Griffin folded, and Parvizi called to put Silver at risk.

Silver: {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Parvizi: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Parvizi's aces were ahead, but the {8-Clubs} turn gave Silver top two pair, which held up on the {4-Clubs} river. Silver doubled up, and Parvizi took a hit to his big stack.
