Level: 8
Blinds: 300/600

With the start of Level 8, there is just one more hour plus a 20-minute break before registration officially closes in this event.
Spotted among the tons of notables still in the field was Andrew "LuckyChewy" Lichtenberger, who evidently registered late and took his seat not too long ago.
Lichtenberger won this very event last year for $569,158, topping a field of 1,125 unique entries. It was his first-ever WSOP gold bracelet, adding to his live earnings totaling over $8.5 million. He also has several High Roller wins, along with a WSOP circuit ring after taking down the $5,150 Main Event in Las Vegas in 2010.
It's still early in the tournament, and there is lots of play left, so keep following the defending champion's progress while he tries to win this event in back-to-back years.
