Schwalich Dominating

Two of the biggest stacks at Miranda #622 are Scott Schwalich and Ian Steinman who were both involved in a hand near the bubble. Schwalich was in position and bet 6,300 on a {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop which Steinman called. Both players checked the {6-Spades} on the turn.

The river was the {8-Clubs} and Steinman checked. Schwalich bet 16,800 and Steinman called, but he couldn't defeat Schwalich's {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

The dealer spread a flop of {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Liu checked. Panka bet 11,000. Liu check-called.

The turn was the {8-Spades}. Liu checked again. Panka continued for 35,000. Liu went deep into the tank before responding with a raise to 80,000. Panka let his hand go.

The {10-Clubs} on the river secured the double-up for Kim, who gave Carrel a hand afterward to apologize. Carrel chuckled and forked over the chips.
