A Hansen Reward

Toni Huynh is a lean mean doubling up machine, and he's just increased his stack two-fold yet again. Facing an all in three-bet, Stefane Hansen made a reluctant call with {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}, only to find himself struggling against {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}.

"Who has the Ace-Jack?" inquired Ganesh Bathmanathan. "The baddest player at the table," replied Hansen.

Board = {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Hansen down to 19,000.

Scandie Flair

Tim Blake grabbed the attention of Scandinavian player Stefane Hansen. "Stefane, you wanna be careful," he warned, removing one of his iPod earpieces. "I feel like I'm getting a bit of Scandie flair. I'm listening to Abba. I'm gonna start raising with all sorts of s**t."

Chip Counts from the Back Room

Eli Heath: 44,000
Mikael Andersson (who yesterday told us his name was Mike Hansan, but never mind): 40,000
John Buttifant: 21,000
Martins Adeniya: 33,500
Ray Rahme: 38,000
David Stucke: 125,000
Thor Drexel: 27,000
JP Kelly: 180,000

Mike Moore: 70,000
Chris Ferguson: 56,000
James Burke: 8,400
Matthias de Meulder: 47,500
James Tomlin: 24,500
Said Englund: 35,000
Alan Freeman: 23,500

Recently moved from the back room to Table 3 -- Adnan Alshanah, on 40,000.

Moore Gets Much

Mike Moore raised to 5,500 in early position, and a short-ish stack pushed behind. Behind him, a second short stack called all in. Back to Moore, and some tanking.

Eventually Moore called, and it wasn't looking great for him...

Moore: {A-Hearts} {K-Clubs}
Short stack all in: {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds}
Even shorter stack all in: {J-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}

Board: Bang! {A-Clubs} {3-Spades} {6-Hearts} {4-Spades} {5-Hearts}

Thus we lose our two unfortunate shorties, and Moore is up to 70,000.

Bathmanathan Not a Happy Chappy

"Ace-Jack? Come on," complained Ganesh Bathmanathan. "If I wanna play roulette I'll go over there."

It seems Bathmanathan, who is now down to 80,000 following his latest encounter, hasn't taken defeat too well, and continued to rant, adding, "Get me off this table, I beg you, please."

Meanwhile, it would take a palette knife and a bottle of turps to remove the smile off Toni Huynh's face. He now has 42,000.
