Charlie Carrel opened from the cutoff and Rainer Kempe three-bet all in for 5.7m from the big blind. Carrel called.

Charlie Carrel: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Rainer Kempe: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The board came {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} with Kempe missing both gutshot straight and flush draws on the river to be eliminated.

Play is now one elimination away from the three table redraw.

Gus Hansen opened to 515,000 from under the gun and Dominik Nitsche re-raised to 1.65 million on the button. Hansen called and the two went heads-up to the flop of {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.

Hansen checked to Nitsche who continued for 1.5 million and Hansen called. The turn was the {a-Spades} and Hansen checked again. Nitsche fired another 2.2 million and Hansen quickly mucked his hand. Nitsche raked in another healthy-sized pot to approach 30 million chips, way ahead of the rest of the field.

Two Pair for Kenney

Level 16 : 120,000/240,000, 40,000 ante

Bryn Kenney raised to 525,000 on the button and Rainer Kempe called from the big blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and both players checked to the {j-Spades} on the turn.

Kempe checked again and Kenney made a delayed c-bet of 625,000. Kempe hung around to see the {9-Diamonds} on the river. Kempe checked for the third time and Kenney pushed forward a bet of 1.66 million. Kempe tanked for nearly three minutes before finally tossing in a call. Kenney showed {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for two pair and raked in the pot.

Sinclair Finds the Right River to Bet

Level 16 : 120,000/240,000, 40,000 ante

Ahadpur Khangah limped in from middle position and Jack Sinclair raised to 700,000 on the button. The action folded back to Khangah who made the call. The dealer fanned the flop of {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Khangah led out for 700,000. Sinclair called and the {4-Clubs} landed on the turn.

Khangah bet another 700,000 and Sinclair still called. The river was the {q-Hearts}, putting a four-card straight on the board and a completed flush draw. Khangah checked this time and Sinclair bet 1.9 million.

"You got it," Khangah said as he tossed his cards to the muck. Sinclair showed the {9-Hearts} and suggested he had a straight flush.

Dietrich Fast
Dietrich Fast

After losing an important flip recently to Rainer Kempe, Dietrich Fast was left with just over 1 million chips. He pushed all in from under the gun and Mikita Badziakouski announced all in as well on the button. The blinds folded and the two hands were face up.

Fast showed {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} but was dominated by Badziakouski's {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Badziakouski hit a pair of aces to take control of the pot. The {8-Clubs} on the turn gave Fast a flush draw to go with his straight draw. However, the {2-Spades} on the river missed everything and Fast was eliminated.
