Khangah With the Bluff vs Sinclair

Level 15 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

Jack Sinclair raised to 450,000 in middle position and Ahadpur Khangah defended his big blind.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and both players checked. Khangah bet 550,000 on the {a-Spades} turn and Sinclair called. Khangah bet 1.4m on the {2-Hearts} river and Sinclair rechecked his cards.

"I put you on Quads," the Brit said before folding. Khangah turned over {j-Clubs}{5-Hearts} before taking down the pot.

Rollercoaster Double Up for Kempe

Level 15 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante
Rainer Kempe
Rainer Kempe

Rainer Kempe opened to 500,000 from early position and Dietrich Fast three-bet to 1.15 million on the button. The blinds folded and Kempe pushed all in for 4.495 million. Fast quickly made the call and the hands were tabled.

Rainer Kempe: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Dietrich Fast: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

It was a classic race scenario with Kempe's tournament life on the line. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Fast hit an ace to take the lead. The turn landed the {q-Diamonds} and Kempe turned a set to re-take the lead. It wasn't over yet as Fast picked up a flush draw on the turn, but the {10-Spades} on the river bricked off and Kempe held on to double up.

Updated Chip Counts; Kurganov Out

Level 15 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

Loosli and Kostritsyn Eliminated

Level 15 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

Sylvain Loosli got the last of his 2.75 million chips in the middle from the cutoff and was up against Julian Thomas on the button. Loosli was ahead with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} but Thomas held two overcards with {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}. The flop came {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Thomas made a pair of tens to take the lead. The turn was the {q-Hearts} and the river brought the {4-Spades}, sending Loosli to the rail.

Just a couple of tables over, Aleksander Kostritsyn moved all in for 1,230,000 from under the gun only to have Kenny Hallaert push all in over the top on the button. Hallaert tabled {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} and Kostritsyn was in trouble with his {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. The board ran out {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Kostritsyn followed Loosli out the door.

Carrel Chips Up Through Kempe

Level 15 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

Both Charlie Carrel and Rainer Kempe checked a turn of {j-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts} and the river brought the {j-Clubs}. Carrel bet 1.2m into a pot of 1.4m and Kempe called quickly.

Carrel showed {q-Spades}{k-Spades} for an Ace-high straight, and that was enough to take down the pot.

Nitsche Flops a Flush

Level 15 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

Gus Hansen raised to 450,000 from middle position and was called by Timothy Adams in the cutoff and Dominik Nitsche in the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{9-Spades} and the action was checked around to Adams who bet 500,000. Nitsche called and Hansen folded.

The turn brought the {6-Spades} and both players checked to the {10-Hearts} on the river. Nitsche led out for 2 million and Adams tank-called. Nitsche turned over {q-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flopped-flush and Adams sent his cards to the muck.

Here is a look at the rest of the chip counts from the table that came off of the live-stream.

Stefan Schillhabel: {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {3-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Schillhabel was eliminated.
