Haemaelaeinen Doubles in Roller Coaster Runout

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Toni Haemaelaeinen raised to 105,000 in the cutoff and Martin Rothaermel called in the small blind. On the {J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, Rothaermel bet enough to put the Finn all in and Haemaelaeinen called for his last 66,000.

Toni Haemaelaeinen: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Martin Rothaermel: {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Rothaermel improved to the better two pair on the {6-Diamonds} turn, but the {5-Diamonds} river gave Haemaelaeinen a flush to double yet another time.

One for Magalashvili

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Hanh Tran raised to 75,000 and Michael Magalashvili defended the big blind. They checked down the board of {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Magalashvili tabled the {J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} for two pair to win the pot.

Goenka Uses One Time, Gets Lucky

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Manish Goenka
Manish Goenka

Christopher Back raised to 55,000 from under the gun, Manish Goenka three-bet shoved 202,000 on the button and Back snap-called.

Manish Goenka: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Christopher Back: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

"Wow!" Goenka laughed, seeing the dire situation he found himself in. Tablemates pointed out the jack and the five as possible escapes for Goenka, but the {K-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop gave him a different route to victory with a flush draw. The {K-Diamonds} on the turn didn't get him there.

"One time!" Goenka yelled and his wish got granted with the {3-Spades} on the river. He cheered audibly and Back, shaking his head, paid him off.

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Andreas Dyll
Andreas Dyll

Shortly after the redraw, Andreas Dyll was the first to depart from the final two tables.

Dyll had defended his big blind with {J-}{J-}{10-}{5-} and got it in after a flop of {5-}{2-}{2-} only for Tarek Sleiman to call with the {A-}{A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-}. There was no help for Dyll on the flop and turn, resulting in his elimination in 16th place for €2,022.

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Alfredo Vega Meister
Alfredo Vega Meister

Alfredo Vega Meister had grinded a short stack for quite some time and then got to see a flop of {5-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, on which he got his stack in against Romain Lewis.

Alfredo Vega Meister: {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Romain Lewis: {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The {7-Clubs} turn improved Lewis to a straight and the {7-Spades} river gave him the superior flush to eliminate Vega Meister in 17th place for €1,676.

Jason Gray

Norbert Burkhard raised to 65,000 in middle position and called off a shove from Jason Gray for 179,000 total.

Jason Gray: {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Norbert Burkhard: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{5-Hearts}

The flop was {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Gray took a commanding lead in the hand with a set of eights. The turn, however, was the {K-Clubs} and Burkhard let out a sigh of relief after turning the higher set. The river was the {6-Spades} and Gray was eliminated.

Peter Jaksland Eliminated in 19th Place (€1,676)

Peter Jaksland
Peter Jaksland

Peter Jaksland raised the pot to 84,000 and was called by Florian Sarnow from one seat over on the button. Jaksland shoved the {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop for a mere 30,000 and Sarnow quickly called.

Peter Jaksland: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Florian Sarnow: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The board completed with the {K-Clubs} turn and {8-Spades}, which sent Jaksland to the rail in 19th place in his first ever PLO live tournament.

Aaron Duczak Eliminated in 20th Place (€1,676)

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Aaron Duczak
Aaron Duczak

In two hands, Aaron Duczak's attempt to win a bracelet came to an end. First, Duczak lost a near million chip pot against Florian Sarnow on an {A-}{K-}{2-} flop with two diamonds. Sarnow had {A-}{K-}{2-}{X-} for three different pairs, Duczak had {A-}{Q-}{J-}{X-} for top pair and the gutterball with the diamonds. The turn and river bricked for Duczak, who was left with some spare change.

Those final crumbs went in afterwards from the small blind and Christopher Back called in the big blind.

Aaron Duczak: {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Christopher Back: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

There wasn't any help for Duczak on a {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} board and he headed for the payout desk.
